The shoes were sized perfectly, the look was as expected. Very pleased.
Can wear right out of the box. Has onsudesole cushion and lots of wiggle room. I'm on my feet on concrete floors at night so I buy wide which works erfect as I also wear two pair socks .. the copper knee highs and cotton mid leg socks. Totally cushy.
Sadly I will be returning this shoe. I like it and it might "break in" with time but I couldn't keep it on for more than a minute because the narrow toe box was very uncomfortable. If it would I would have been delighted because I like the way it looks and like that it is leather.
Out of the box, wonderful! I didnt even need as much time to stretch these as i did with my white leather and my black canvas (unlike my white canvas, which was equally out-of-the-box perfect.)Will buy again! (Well, DID buy again- I have a backup hidden for when these are retired!)
I wanted a plain black leather lace-up shoe and have enjoyed canvas Keds before, so gave these a try. The first day they actually felt very tight and I thought they would not work out. However, by day 2 they stretched out enough and were very comfortable. I like them overall. They are very versatile. I with they did not have the Keds logo in white on the front flap, for a more uniform black look, but its not a big deal.

Very disappointed as I have been purchasing the white leather Keds sneaker and they are great. I am not happy with the material of these black Keds sneakers as they definitely don't feel like leather. I will be returning.
