Over the years, Keds have remained a great buy. They are comfortable, durable and well made.
I’ve had a hard time finding original Ked’s and was happy to find them on Amazon. The shoes are perfect. The box is sturdy and protective.

Let's face it. I'm old. My feet are spreading, my legs hurt--everything hurts. My Keds are my friends. They are light on my feet and cool in the summer. They snuggle up to warm socks in the winter to keep me warm. The laces can be loosened when my poor feet swell at the end of the day. They support my foot with a good arch, but move with my feet as I rush through my day, pushing and climbing and pulling and lifting and carrying. My day is long, beginning with an hour's work at home before leaving for work and ending with two hours of work after returning from my active 9 hour day. My Keds stay with me, protecting my tender feet, but never intruding their presence. No pinching. No rubbing. No Cinderella's evil sister squeezing to fit. And when I pull them off at night, should they be muddy or grimy, I may toss them into the washer and give them a gentle bath. Wonderful shoe!
I have always loved Keds but quality has fallen. The lace is thin. The shoes bottom is a little slippery. The material not as strong but it looks great.

I thought they would be more like converse in that area.The soles are nice and thick.The laces are the perfect length. Lace length is very important to me for some reason, I don't know.Cons:The fit the length of my foot, but I wish they were just a hair wider.I have had a little bit of a problem getting the on my foot, because my heel will catch the heel of the shoe.The canvas of the shoe is super stiff, which makes them a little difficult to maneuver if I get the heel caught. I'm sure it's mostly because they're new, and they'll soften up over time. I'll update my review after a few weeks.I made the mistake of wearing flat socks instead of regular ankle socks, and I think I may get a blister on the back of my heel after a few hours. Regular socks would have been a better choice.
