In 1916, the Keds brand was introduced by the U.S. Rubber Company as the first national athletic and lifestyle footwear brand. At this time, the shoes were called sneakers, a term invented in late 1916 because the rubber soles made the shoes quiet. Worn by Olympic soccer players, scores of National and International tennis champions, and many college athletes, Keds was coined the shoe of champions because of its reputation as America's premier athletic brand. Not only was Keds a leading athletic brand, it was also the brand of choice for leading style icons due to its classic, stylish, and authentic characteristics.

Sizing extremely off way to tight
These shoes are ok, and pretty much as described. I have a wide foot, and the shoe itself is just a bit too snug for my preference, and the toe box is too narrow and hurts my foot. I'm hoping that maybe if I dampen the canvas and stick shoe trees into the shoes, it will help stretch out the shoe a bit. Not really worth the price.
Hard to find black sneakers with black trim, come in wide which I needed, good fit
I need them for dress and comfort -Thank you
All I wanted were some plain black shoes, and these served me well, but I wish they had lasted longer. They fell apart after 6 months. Offered no support, so had to put in Dr Scholls insoles.
It was a smooth exchange. I needed a smaller size and they give U ample time to exchange plus you get UR exchange even before you have time to return the first pair.
I normally wear an 8 and they are a little big- other than that, love them! They have the dream foam insoles and are super comfy
