My shoes are very comfortable and I wear them a lot.
I love this shoe!!! Too bad they don't make it any longer. I ordered my regular size 2 weeks ago and had to send them back as the medium was too narrow - so I ordered the wider size and they are great. These shoes are great for line dancing as the bottoms don't stick to the floor.
I am very pleased that I was able to find a comfortable and casual, yet stylish, walking shoe that I can wear to my place of employment, that is in an office setting. My feet require a wide width with a minimal heel height, which is now very difficult to find in stores, unless one wishes to purchase athletic shoes. With these needs, I was skeptical about ordering shoes online, but I am truly pleased with the fit, comfort and quality of these shoes!
These Hush Puppy Walking Shoes are the same size as my Hush Puppy Power Walker Sneaker. However, they are way too small, and I had to mail them back. Because I have to spend a certain amount to get free shipping, I had to buy other items. Now, when I get my refund, I will have to wait until I have enough money in my Amazon to buy sneakers and get free shipping. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I contacted the Hush Puppy company who makes the shoes, and I was told that the difference between the two pairs of shoes are the toes. The walking shoes are a little tighter in the toes. My experiences tells me that those shoes are much more smaller all the way around.
I have been wearing these shoes for about 20 years to work. I love them when I put them on new they do not have to be broke in or anything they are comfortable from the first wear. They are also skid and slip resistant although they are not advertised as such. I was distressed to learn they are closing all of the outlet stores, but I was able to find them on line. I hope they are not considering closing all stores or discontinuing these shoes. There is nothing about these shoes I do not like.
I love these shoes because they are so comfortable. They are the only shoe I have purchased for the last 15+ years because I have fussy feet that love this shoe, but cannot stand most others. However, I am writing this review in dissatisfaction with the quality of the sole. I very often find that the bottom of the shoe wears excessively and this time the bottom has deeply cracked in less than 5 months of use. I weigh 125, so it is not getting excessive weight bearing, yet it is not holding up. This problem seems to only happen with the black color, but I like the look of the black best.For me comfort is the number one factor, so I am buying them again, but you may not want to buy them in black.
These are the best fitting shoes I own and I have purchased four pairs over time. They would get 5 stars if they didn't have the ugly white reflective patch on the heel and the ugly label on the tongue. I also personally have to add an insole with more arch support but this may not be true for others. But back to the ugly patch which makes these shoes unwearable in anything but real sport activities: I solved it by sticking an exact sized piece of black Gorilla tape over the reflective patch. It stayed in place with no problem for 6 months on my last black pair and I have them on my new pair too. I also removed the label on the tongue which is both stitched AND glued (thank you Goo Gone). Now I can wear these without feeling so sloppy. Let's face it, most people who buy these shoes have problems with their feet and have to wear them to places other women are wearing cute shoes. Hush Puppies, please at least don't ugly them up.
