Another standout feature is the slip-resistant outsole. This characteristic is vital for anyone working in environments that demand safety from slips and falls. You can feel confident moving around even in wet conditions, which is a major plus if your duties involve kitchen work or patient care.
In terms of style, the sleek black design fits seamlessly into various wardrobe choices, allowing you to transition from professional settings to casual outings without missing a beat. Plus, with the water-resistant capabilities, maintaining their appearance is relatively effortless.
However, be mindful of sizing as some users report that the Bondi SR may fit larger than expected, so it’s advisable to try them on. Also, while their design is functional and stylish, the color options are somewhat limited.

very comfortable
First off, I have terrible problems with my feet and Hokas have been my saving grace. These are a tad bit heavier because they’re leather but I was traveling to UK where it would be cold & rainy and didn’t want mesh sneakers. I wear the Bondi style sneaker, which is a very plushy & highly cushioned sneaker with a stabilizing heel cup and some arch support, (I would like more arch support but I can get that with an orthotic). They might be a tad pricey, but if your feet cry, these are worth evey penny. Not exaggerating. I swear by them. Oh, they were recommended to me by my orthopedic surgeon.
Heard all the reviews about this brand of shoe from fellow restaurant workers. I am now learning it's more about the brand than the comfort. For the cost I expected to be walking on clouds.. it was the complete opposite. Within 2 hours of being on my feet I could barely take it. Convinced I need to break them in. So pushed for a couple days.. but it turns out rather than breaking in the shoes, the shoes were breaking in my feet! After 2 days of excruciating pain and suffering I had to give up. When taking the shoes off it was like being freed from a vice. Maybe try running in wide sizes for the skid resistant work shoes. As a server who is on my feet 14 plus hours a day in a fast paced high end restaurant comfort is the most important factor when looking for the right pair of work shoes. I have found that the last pair of work shoes that were FILA skid resistant 7.5wide before I ordered the hokas. Now incredibly disappointed with my purchase and ridiculous amount of money spent on the MOST uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. So also being the devils advocate I assumed my next pair of shoes would also hurt as bad and that I just need to give them more time to break in... thankfully I was wrong in that assumption after ordering another pair of FILA skid resistant shoes for $40 rather than $200 that i may never get back. And as soon as I slipped them on, Cinderella had found her shoe. Never again will I buy hoka or recommend. How can yall charge so much for such a terrible product?! Work shoes NEED to be COMFORTABLE!
Very comfortable
Super cushy, and comfy, my foot isn’t wide so I have had no issues with them! Needed them for school and have no regrets wear them everyday and so far so good! Feet feel awesome at the end of the day
It got rid of foot pain without inserts
Fits very well
I read all the hype about these shoes being comfortable. I was looking for a comfy shoe that I could do lots of walking in NYC for an upcoming trip. I ordered them in advance so I could break them in before the trip. The were very uncomfortable right out the box. They looked a little weird too. Very wide and thick soles. But I really liked that they didn’t have a mesh fabric on them though, incase NY has some snow, my feet shouldn’t get immediately wet. I tried to loosen the way I tied them. Still hurt around the top of my foot where the tongue met at the ankle. Then I took the laces out of the top lace holes. Much better!! I’ve been wearing them a few hours each day indoors and they are finally breaking in! I’m excited that I will be able to wear them for my trip!
