This is my first pair of Florsheim shoes. They run a bit narrow and I was concerned they weren’t going to work well for me, but after a few days wearing them at work, they began to feel comfortable.I only wear these shoes indoors at work. I walk anywhere between 4-7 miles a day. Because of the material and the woven style, they aren’t going to do well in wet conditions, but seem like they’re quality and will hold up as an indoor work shoe.
The look and feel of the heist 6-eye shoe is great! Very stylish and looks/feels durable. Problem is as most people have commented- the sizing is off. I’ve worn a 9.5 in every shoe I’ve owned for past 20 years. This shoe was comfortable but material inside heel was satin-like and allowed my heel to slide out no matter how tight I tied laces. Some suggest sizing down but shoe is very comfortable other than the heel material’s slippery texture. Had to return.
I have worn a lot of great Florsheim shoes over the years. This is not one of them. It is uncomfortable, the heel slides out and the mid area is so tight.
