When it comes to performance-oriented skate shoes, the Etnies Men's Joslin Vulc does not disappoint. One of the standout features is the Michelin Vulc outsole, which offers unparalleled grip, making it easier to stay connected with your board during dynamic movements. This unique design also significantly enhances durability, ensuring that the shoe can withstand the rigors of street skating or park sessions.
The Pro Foam 2 PU insole provides excellent cushioning, absorbing impact while allowing you to land tricks comfortably. The double wrap vulcanized foxing tape reinforces the shoe, giving you confidence in its structural integrity. Furthermore, the rubber heel wrap adds an extra level of support, beneficial for those who engage in high-impact skating styles.
However, the fit can be a bit on the snug side, especially if you have wider feet. It's advisable to try them on or consider sizing up for comfort. Additionally, although they look great right out of the box, expect a short break-in period before they truly conform to your feet.

20 years ago I pretty much gave up skating at the age of 4. (broken hip) Yes, I still skated down the street to check out the surf but that was about it. So.. I always feel a little guilty buying skate shoes. (i started buying cheap running shoes) A month ago I skated a little bowl at one of the local skateparks and had a blast. So for my 60th birthday I figured I'm cool enough to start buying skate shoes again. On the practical side there aren't many shoes that will last longer than a pair of well made Skate Shoes.Etnies is one of the original skate brands, and still skater owned to this day.
I'm in love with these shoes. Haven't took them off since I bought them. Going to need a few more pairs for when these Wear out, which I do not expect soon at all. Since when does Ernie do a colab with Michelin tires??? Now 😍🤗 the grip on these things r amazing.
Great experience! It was just what I expected, they have just arrived and I have them on. I hope to know what will happen in a month and I upload another review.
These shoes are so comfortable. I mostly wear Vans but wanted something different. When I saw these Etnies in all pink I had to have them. I like them because they don’t have that super “puffy” stubby look and the pink is what sold me . Look really good on and match a lot of clothes. The pink is a nice tone. Not crazy pink. I’m 50 and rocking them!
Right shoe was tighter than the other. Very uncomfortable, actually painful. But i needed shoes ASAP. So i kept them hoping they will break in. After a couple days of wearing a bandaid on my pinky toe, they are starting to fit better. The bottom tread is super cool, and made by Michelin tires. Will see how they hold up. Will update later
Great skate shoe fit to size so my foot is a 9 I got a 9 and it fit perfect it's got strange flick for heelflip but amazing flick for kickflip
