Needed a waterproof shoe for the Fall. These are perfect. Fit was great too! Love the style.
The Ecco Felicia looked almost exactly like these except the heel was designed in a dressier way. So I could wear them to work, but still have the same comfort and water resistance as a waterproof sneaker.Unfortunately, the Felicia version is all sold out in most sizes and this sneaker was all I could find. I was hoping that it was basically the same as the Felicia because the top of the shoe looks the same, but unfortunately the heel and bottom really truly does look like a sneaker and therefore I can't really wear these to work without looking too casual. It's really hard to find a shoe that is as comfy as a sneaker, but looks dressy enough to wear with creased trousers... these sneakers are too casual looking for that so they're going back. Please bring back the Felicia.
Definitely worth the price, they are stylish and comfortable - the sweet spot for shoes. Love them.
See pictures. In all my many years I've never once thought about needing a shoe horn! But htese, wel at forst I said they'd be going back. I did like the look and the style, so I decided to try to force my foot in since the length was correct. I could not sit and hold the shoe to put it on, I could not sit and put my foot in with shoe on floor. I literally had to stand up, crush the heel part down under my heel with full weight of body to force my foot in. I then had to stand there wiggling my foot around a few times to get my heel in. One foot had the fabric get bunched up under the heel as it finally gave way and slid in. Had to do that one all over again. Once on, they fit like they should, and felt fine; perhaps the toe box is slightly tight. I could even take them off while standing by using one foot to push the other shoe down and off from the back. I wear an 11, or 42 in ECCO, so it could be the larger size didn't get a large enough opening for the foot length. (I am tall not large, and so my feet are not especially heavy, bulky or wide.) I think the best bet is likely a combination of three facts: they are cut to rest higher up on the foot (top of foot is covered); the Gore-Tex fabric does not have much stretch/give; and, they lack either an elastic gore around the opening or a pull tab on heel to help us pull them on.
The sneakers look great, fit feels supportive, however; I will take issue with the presentation. First- no shoe box, then only the left shoe had the cardboard molding to retain its shape, tissue paper and shoe tree. The right shoe had none of these things which leads me to believe this pair of sneakers were returned for some reason, someone had tried the right one on and no one bothered to check the presentation before resending them to a different customer….under the guise of being brand new and not used. Do better! You have a very good product and this is my second pair, but now I’ll make all future purchases from a store.
This shoe is very comfortable and looks great. The sides are soft and are perfect for my wide foot.
