I love the Ecco 8. There is more room in the toe and are more supportive than the Ecco 7. Also there is a good arch support. Great looking shoe, great fit, comfortable. I wear a 9M, weigh 125 pounds, 5'8", with no outstanding issues with my feet, other than needing comfort and cushioning. I walk extensively and I am 69. I ordered the black shimmer. Love this particular style.
Very comfortable and supportive. The color is trendy and the style is on point to wear with activewear or T-shirt dresses! You do have to wear them a couple times to loosen them up!
After I loosened the shoelaces they fit snugly but are just fine. Especially fine in the toes. They are good-looking, high quality all leather shoes. They look and feel expensive. May get another color in same style in the same size. It is hard to find leather shoes inside and out. Especially sneakers. Ecco has a lot of options for me. I can't wear polyester or plastic shoes, clothes etc...
Beautifully made, wonderful feeling first day, no break in needed at all, a bit narrow thou. Never disappointed at Ecco ever! LOVED IT
Love the color, especially since I’ve changed the leather laces with the included ones that match the show however I can only compare the Soft 8’s with my black leather Gore-Tex Soft 7’s and there is No comparison. I ordered these in the Fired Brick color that I really like, not a true red - more of a reddish brown but very neutral, I ordered my usual size 39, 8-8.5 and the M width. The leather is nice and I’m sure it will soften in time. The Soft 8’s definitely run very narrow and snug but longer than my others which helps out with the narrow width. I had to loosen the laces a lot to even get my foot in this shoe, but they’re not huge and floppy, there no way I could have gone down a size. I need a sneaker for travel with Good arch support, these don’t have that, I’d say moderate support and I did have to add an innersole for more support and cushioning on the ball of my foot. This shoe is an entirely different style from the Soft 7’s which is visible when ordering, they’re a bit dressier if there’s such a thing as a dressy sneaker but right now the comfort of the Soft 8’s is not there.I’m trying them on the carpet for a while but the verdict is still out. Just be warned that they run quite narrow, the soles are not as cushioned but there is flexibility in the show and arch support is lacking. Wow, after reading what I wrote maybe these aren’t the shoes for me :(
I am familiar with this product. One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I still wear a pair I bought three years ago and I wear them to work at least 3 days out of the week. Take care of them and they will last a very long time.
Shoes come with very beautiful decoration lace on the back. However, the quality of these laces is extremely low. After just 1 month light wearing, they fell off.
Perfect fall shoes!!! Color, fit, design, everything is super!!!
