These were a little stiff but after about ten minutes they softened up. The toe box roomy which is important to me, and they have good overall support. I’m not sure how good they would be for fitness long distant walking, but they feel great for all day wear.
Very comfortable. Great arch support. Love the feel of the leather - very soft. Like that it has an insert that can be removed if the additional support is t necessary. I wear a European 39. Ordered the US size 8. Fits perfect. I have an issue with my right big toe joint. So far these shoes do not hurt that at all. I also have a high instep. Also, no issues with that. I’d recommend these shoes.UPDATE: I’m rethinking my original opinion. I’ve tried wearing in the house (on the carpet of course) and find them a little stiff. The area where the shoe is seamed over the toes and by the tongue bothers me. Thinking about returning. I did take the additional insole out, but it didn’t really seem to help. Sadly I chose to return them. They are very well made and great quality ….. just not for my feet.
This is a great shoe..have it in 4 other colors! What I love is that it fits and feels great! I swear a 9.5 N and I have flat feet, so finding shoes is nearly impossible. But these are great! the inside arch support is great...supportive but doesn't dig into my flat foot; the laces let me make it fit perfectly and the toe box is a bit more tapered vs round. Love, Love, Love!
I have worn more than 5 pairs of Ecco sneakers and this is by far the most uncomfortable one. The length is fine but it cuts narrow and the base of the shoe feels like a wooden plank (hardly any flexibility). It's a real pity cos the look is great and it has the trademark Ecco soles that I like.
I'm an Ecco user, have been for decades. These fit fairly well, but not the foot hugging quality found in other styles. They are pretty good for walking, but they will need quite a bit of breaking in before I can take them out on a long walk. Other walking shoes just don't work on my low profile feet.
Fits true to size. Definitely narrow so wide foot folks beware. They are very comfortable as well. With all Ecco shoes they come laced in such an odd manner. If you re-lace them then they are even more comfortable to wear. The color is also not too bright. It's a mauve shimmer dark peachy color. It's pretty
