Cons: sizing I am a 9m on most non athletic shoes. 9.5 on Nike, adidas, etc. On Eccos I found out that I use 42 or 8-8.5 using their sizing scale. I am day on my feet at work and walk approximately 2.5 miles inside of the building on a common day. I regularly use Nike and adidas walking shoes. I started using the eccos for work and I noticed a big difference in comfort they are very comfortable like a Cadillac for your feet. Buy them if you are all day on your feet. I wouldn’t recommend where non slip sole is needed. Also they are leather which is tends to hold less dirt. You can wipe them with a cloth easily. They are not shiny.tends more to a matte black.
I always wear size 9.5, sometimes size 9 if I want a closer fit. I have recently within the last 2 months, purchased 2 different pairs of Ecco shoes. Both size 9-9.5 were HUGE, like 3/4" too big at the toe. I had to go with 8 - 8.5 size. One pair was just a tad small but fine, this pair is a tad large (at 1 size smaller!), but also fine. The toe box on this one was not narrow, it was fairly roomy. Ecco shoes have a different profile near the front of the shoe compared to other shoes, so dependent on your foot shape, it may run large or small because your large toe may have room but no room for your smaller toes. So the fit is different. That said, this shoe was advertised as a street walker. I noticed that the heel is wide, so that it is stable walking on flat ground like a sidewalk. It is not rolled at the heel like most walking shoes. It also has a higher arch than most shoes. The heel plug I cannot tell any difference - it does not provide additional cushioning. Its a fine street walker - time will tell how durable the sole is.
These shoes were a big surprise! This was the first time ordering them online so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the packaged to see the quality of the shoes. They are very stylish, well made and very comfortable not to mention a real steal for the price.

Shoes arrived in "used condition', the soles had a small amount of dirt in-between tread, mild scuffs on outer edges, but worst of all the insoles had a visible foot impression as though they had been "tried on" for too long before somebody returned them (GROSS AF!!!). Otherwise these probably would have been great shoes. Returned immediately and seller promptly refunded my account. Five stars for the prompt refund, but one star stands for trying to sell me used shoes -it was a huge inconvenience for me
