This is on my purchase of the version with a black upper with a black sole- no contrast. I had looked for this type of shoe and tried/returned some other brands. This version of Ecco fits me well and has a nice smooth appearance, a bit dressier with the leather look than a fabric look for the office or date night. Can dress up some jeans or khakis a bit but does not look over dressed. This was a good solution for an impending return to the office after a long long stint working from home; at the office there will still be a lot of jeans etc. worn but the bosses may have some expectation if clients are visiting you at the office that shoes look a step up from gym shoes.
I like the fit of this Ecco sneaker, very comfortable, gives a little, fits true to size.
Size is well fit. But back of shoes is rubbing against my heel....other than this, all perfect.
I've always struggle with finding shoes that are wide enough for my foot.I think this is the first time I've worn shoes that actually fit, where I can finally forget that I'm wearing them. Instead of getting distracted from pressure on the outer bone of my foot, below the pinky toe.Will by another pair. Perhaps two (one brown, one black).
Really like these retro looking shoes. I would say the only negative thing is that the white sidewall of the shoe is difficult to clean and keep white. I have tried Mr. Clean erasers, and several cleaners which help. However, I cannot get them perfect.

These shoes are quality made, like I expect from Ecco. They feel great to walk in. I would even consider running in them. They look better in person than the photo. I wear these to work, as well as casual outings. Very happy with my purchase.
After walking the summer in flip flops I can no longer put these on. What a shame! Loved these shoes.
