They are nice looking, more dressy than a running shoe. I have a hammer toe so the roomy box is great.
I bought this shoe for the bungee-type lacing,. I love not having to thread and pull laces. Read some reviews saying shoe was stiff. It is a little stiff but that doesn't impede its performance. In fact, this shoe is one of the most comfortable lace-up-type shoes I've ever worn. Very, very happy with this purchase.
I was in search of a black, comfortable sneaker that I could wear to the office. I like the style and how lightweight it is. For being wide width, it's a bit snug, but not too tight. I wore no-show socks, but would probably fit better without socks. I do recommend for the support.
I have a lot of issues with pain in my foot and knees because I have a foot that is very flat. I decided to give dansko a try because of their reputation for comfort. I purchased these to take a trip where I'd be doing a lot of walking and they certainly lived up to their reputation for comfort. Also, I'm 5'4" with a 9.5 size shoe, my feet are big. These shoes are minimalistic and slimming. They make me feel good about my feet! Usually stabilizing and comfort shoes are big and bulky. Lastly, the bungie shoe sting thing is pretty cool. I highly recommend, they are very comfortable and they look great.

I think Dansko makes the best brand of shoes, period! I have high arches and a hard time finding a pair of shoes to stand and walk in, even finding proper arch supportsis difficult (Superfeet are great). I've tried custom orthotics, but got injured with a bad fit. Then serendipitously, I was given a pair of Dansko's by my boss at the time and it changed my life. They fit perfectly with the first wear, hitting my arch in exactly the right place. What a relief! They are expensive, but I save up look for the rare sale and buy a new pair every chance I get. I now own 5 pairs in different styles and colors.Be aware that this this Henriette style, fits a little more narrowly than others through the widest part of the front, but I suspect it will ease with wear. If it came in a wide it would probably be just right, even though I don't nirmally wear a wide. Otherwise it's a nice pair to slip on without having to tie laces and such. My favorite is Charlie, which is now hard to find. I will be forever grateful for my first pair of Dansko's and hope to try other styles that aren't sneakers. Weirdly, though others swear by them, the clogs that Dansko is famous for, don't fit me - Go figure!
I bought these to take with me for a three week trip to Europe. They were the only shoes I had. Within the first week I noticed that the left shoe was causing me to severely pronate. After closer examination (see photos) I discovered the left shoe was manufactured wrong. The left shoe sole was crooked and leaning in. Unfortunately the return window has closed. I can not wear these shoes again and I’m out the money. The Dansko Co. replaced the shoes!
I do a lot of walking. I mean A LOT of walking! With these delightful shoes, I can stand on my feet all day and night and not get tired. AND, I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and neuropathy in the other. That speaks volumes about the comfort of these shoes. Will definitely buy again!
