Love these shoes! I'm a 12W in normal street shoes, and the 12W fit perfect... I usually wear a short thin sock with them as well, but not required...I use them for sailing, and the grip is very, very good, and the sidewalls offer plenty of support to keep your foot from sliding sideways (inside the shoe itself) while the boat heels over...Many of those $30 "foam-type" water shoes are okay, and certainly are comfortable, but when the boat heels over, there is no sidewall structure, so your foot literally slides sideways in the shoe, distorting the sole and the shoe's grip on the deck.. My feet literally come right out of the shoes sometimes..But not so with these Columbia shoes... Just the perfect blend of comfort and performance... Look good too! I love them..
These shoes are awesome! I normally wear Vans but i came across these shoes here and the style cought my eye. I like the Velcro and the draw strings instead of shoe laces. The fit is a little snug but i still recommend ordering your normal shoe size.Overall i like the style, the quality seems good and they're comfortable.
I wanted a "closed" water shoe that won't let too much sand and gravel inside the shoe, so I ruled out the various sandal-style water shoes with an open footbed. However, I've had poor luck with water shoes that cause blisters around the collar or heel pad. So far these provide an ideal compromise. They keep the worst of the gravel out, and they drain and dry quickly enough (not fast, but fast enough). More importantly, they're comfortable and I don't have a blister yet! I haven't had them long enough to evaluate how much odor buildup I'll get, which is a chronic problem with water shoes but I'm optimistic.A note about fit- I usually have to size up in water shoes but I measured my foot length carefully and trusted the Columbia size chart. My normal size in street shoes is 10.5 US and these were spot on. So far, so good!
I ordered the wides and they were still a little snug. I ended up removing the insoles and now they fit perfect but obviously hard without the soft soles. That said, I love the feel of the shoes and they have been fairly durable as I’ve used them for everything from going on the boat to working on my vehicle to mowing the grass. My main dislike is even though they are “water” shoes the soles still retain a fair amount of water and thus can smell quickly if you are in dirtier water. It took a couple washes with simple green and baking in the Florida sun for a few days to finally disinfect and smell decent again. I love the look and feel though.
Received a pair of these shoes as a gift, and really enjoyed the comfort. As a result, I bought myself another pair. After my son and my dad checked them out, wound up buying each of them a pair. They seem to be made very well. They look sharp -love the colors.
Great seller and product too ,would recommend defo .
I loved these shoes from the start. The look had me and then to feel how comfortable they are, blew me away. Columbia PFG knows how to make a great shoe for fitting just about an occasion. I used this shoe as a boating shoe and it gripped very well, fit very well and looked very well.
Is really good material
