Okay so as most reviewers said, they run pretty small. My daughter wears an 11 street shoes. I ordered a 13 Wide and they fit great. So, TWO sizes up! They DO take some effort to get them on. Just work the foot down into the toe area then slide the heel on. It seemed like they wouldn’t fit at first but once they were on, they fit perfectly. I got the wide because shes got wider feet. But if your child has narrow feet, a regular in two sizes up from their street size would work great. Love the canvas, it’s a lot more flexible.
My daughter love them makes her feel very comfortable
Just a warning: these shoes are narrow and tight around the opening. I had read other reviews and decided to order a size larger for my daughter. She has skinny, narrow feet; But she still had to work them on her feet. The opening doesnt stretch much. After putting them on, they fit perfect and she loved how they felt.My suggestion is to order at least one size up. If your child has any width to their feet, definitely order the wide and maybe consider going a size and half up from street shoe.
After reading reviews I ordered 1 size up in a medium width. The length will work but they are very tight around the ankle area, leaving red marks. I just ordered another pair in a wide and hope that will work and will need to return the first order. His performance is this weekend and we hope the wider width will work!! They are actually good canvas shoes, just run small.
This shoe runs about 1/2 to a full size small and a bit narrow. My daughter uses size 2-2.5 regular width (B or M) street shoes, and child size 3W fit her just right. Comfortably snug fit, well-constructed, makes turns and glides easier.
it's ok
Fit perfect! I would order street size or maybe 1/2 size up to be safe. Canvas jazz shoes are better than leather. The dancers can turn better and they feel like socks. They are also easier to break in!
My daughter loves them for her jazz class. They are a little snug to get on but would rather have them tight enough to stay on with all the leaps and jumps then her having them fall off. We did order a half size up from her street shoe as well.
