The Capezio E Series EJ2C Jazz Slip On excels in multiple areas crucial for young dancers. First, let's talk about fit. These shoes are designed to wrap snugly around your child’s feet, mimicking the feel of a sock. This snugness does not compromise comfort; rather, it enhances it by preventing unnecessary movement within the shoe, which can lead to injuries.
However, it is advisable to start by ordering a half-size up from their usual street shoe size to ensure optimal comfort and fit, especially for those with a high instep who may benefit from the wide-width option available.
Another standout feature is its slip-on design. This means getting ready for class is hassle-free—no fumbling with laces when there’s precious dance time at stake! Additionally, the moisture-absorbent lining works wonders, keeping feet cool and dry even during the most intense sessions.
On the downside, some users have noted the limited color variations offered, which could be a drawback for little ones who love to express themselves through different colors. Furthermore, while many appreciate the snug fit, this might necessitate careful consideration when selecting sizes.

The shoe is a perfect fit. Does need to get broken in, will be a tight fit to get the shoe on in the beginning, but will soften and become easier with time and wear.
Just like other dance shoe brands, the sizing is a little funky. Sized 3 sizes up from her regular shoe size (2 sizes bigger then the ones she’s grown out of) These are a liiiitle big but I’m sure by the end of the year she will fit in them perfectly. Love the quality. Great brand for dance ware.
These are perfect for the kiddo who just started jazz. A little snug, (which my daughter says jazz shoes are supposed to be) so I suggest sizing up
Great quality fits to size
Great shoes my daughter love them they are very comfortable, I’ll justo worry she will grow them up very fast.
These worked great throughout dance season and stayed in perfect condition.
Over the years I have found Capezio to be a trusted brand - one that I wore back when I was a kid taking dance classes and now as my own daughter is dancing. The quality remains true but be sure to size WAY up. I ordered a pair going up 2 shoes sizes for my daughter but when I pulled them out of a the box, I thought I was sent the wrong size. There was no way I could even attempt to get them on her feet as they looked like they were 4 sizes too small! There was such a drastic difference that I am honestly wondering if the shoes were mislabeled?
My daughter is a street 13, & the size 13 jazz shoe fit exactly perfect for her! The color is spot on! She previously was wearing Revolution & they didn’t have the padding or comfort that these shoes have. Very pleased with them, as well as my dancing 7yr old.
