Good arch support is the reason that I can't wear most shoes. These shoes do not have a giant drop-off, otherwise know as arch support, that hits my foot in the wrong place and is very painful. For the last several years I have been condemned to wear Crocs almost all the time because they do not hurt my feet. The cheap plastic tends to flatten quickly in a way that makes the shoe actually fit me. Plus there is plenty of generous toe box. I live to find flat shoes & I mean really flat--no heel, no nothing--just shoe. These are the best I've found in a few years. Some manufacturers like Aerosoles and Blowfish start out with shoes that are flat but soon get on the swooping, skateboard park that's called arch support and I can no longer wear them. So, I love these shoes. Sadly, I was motivated to purchase the PEU Cami boot. Totally different story. How can 2 shoes in the same line be so radically different? It took me 2 minutes to know that I had to return them.
Love these, very cute. A word of caution...buy your European size not your American size. Here, they state a 40 is equivalent to a 10 which is not usual. I usually wear a 9 or a 40... If I'd bought the 9 it would be too small. Thanks to the other reviewers I noticed this and ordered the right size. They're just as I hoped, leather is nice quality and they have that nice new leather smell. They don't go on easily but feel great once they are. I am hoping they'll last a good long time, I've never bought this brand before.
Great shoesSize as expected
Since I love the quirky look of these shoes, I so wanted to love them. Alas, while they feel like a pair of gloves made just for me the lack of arch support was a deal-breaker. I tried several of my inserts but none prevented that inward roll. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with these shoes. I truly appreciate the fine workmanship and would gladly pay the price, if I could make them work. I may have had to trade out the single stretchy lace that make this a slip-on for the old-fashioned tie type, but that would take care of the difficulty of getting them on followed by the slight slipping in the shoe - again this is just my narrowish, low volume feet. I normally wear a 40 and sized up to 41 which was the right call. Oh, I wish these near-perfect shoes worked for me, but they're going back. Maybe I will try another Camper style...
Love these shoes. Wore paired with a wool suit to Congressional meetings. Great for walking on concrete. These shoes a versatile as both casual and dressing. They fit like a glove, a bit tight at first but eventually stretched out. I wouldn't recommend for someone with wide feet though.
This was the tightest fit I have seen for a size 12. It really was more like an 11.
These are authentic Camper Peu Cami. The leather is soft, the fit is true to size, and they look adorable on. The first few times they are a little challenging to get on the foot, but they loosen up.By the way, beware of Fake Campers on Amazon. I got a pair that were so bizarre and badly fitting and didn’t feel or look the same as my other 4 pairs. These look and feel just like the genuine ones that I already own.
Not sure about quality I had to return them, these were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on.. not even worth ten dollars, the fit is super narrow , my feet are not wide but these are made for thin and flat feet I suppose, even though I purchased a size up still the top where the laces are was super tight and uncomfortable. The definitely not worth the money.
