The Bloch Girls Synchrony Split Sole Stretch Canvas Slipper is a stunning addition to any young dancer's shoe collection. Designed with an emphasis on both comfort and style, this ballet flat offers a streamlined fit that caters to the specific needs of little feet. The use of ultimate stretch canvas allows for flexibility, while the wider toe area offers ample space for natural toe splay, supporting healthy foot development.
Unlike traditional ballet shoes, this model replaces the binding and drawstring with a wide elastic that reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon and dorsal surface upon contact with the floor. This thoughtful design feature makes it ideal for budding ballerinas, as it minimizes irritation and enhances overall comfort during practice and performances.
With a unique split sole suede outsole, these slippers provide excellent traction and grip, essential for executing intricate dance movements with confidence. As a product from Bloch, a brand renowned worldwide for its high-quality dance footwear since 1932, you can expect nothing less than superior craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Fit and Comfort: The Bloch Girls Synchrony slipper excels in providing a comfortable fit. The absence of a binding or drawstring means less constriction around the foot, allowing for greater freedom of movement. The wide elastic band ensures that the slipper stays securely in place without digging into the skin, which is often a concern for many dancers.
Performance: In terms of performance, the slipper's split sole design enhances flexibility and allows for better articulation of the foot. Young dancers will find themselves able to perform their routines with improved agility, making these slippers a practical choice for both classes and recitals.
Durability: Constructed with quality materials, the Bloch Synchrony slippers are designed to withstand regular use. The suede outsole provides durability on multiple surfaces, ensuring that they hold up well over time even after extensive wear.
Style: Available in a lovely pink hue, these ballet shoes cater to the aesthetic preferences of young girls who want to feel pretty while dancing. The simplicity of the design, combined with the functional elements, creates a beautiful balance between style and practicality.

good support promotes proper alignment noted less inversion of my daughters feet esp on plies And its so easy to clean.
Amended/updated reviewWrote this in 2016, when I loved the shoe:These were the perfect ballet shoe for my daughter's first serious ballet class. Some of the other parents were eyeballing these, asking me who made them and where I got them. My daughter said "they feel a little strange at first but then you get used to them." They are split heel ballet shoes, after all. But it seems she loves them very much now. Highly recommend. And the BEST thing about it is that they fit absolutely true to size, in my experience. That means do not buy for your daughter to grow into them, buy them in the size she wears right now as measured! This is the UPDATE, a year later and after purchasing these shoes again in a half and full size up, and it's just not working! See below:We ordered these shoes again for this newest ballet season for my daughter, and are noticing that the heel does not come up the back of the heel far enough and the bottom sueded heel sole is not sewn in the right spot (it's in the arch area of her foot instead of landing at the heel). I'm bummed out, since this shoe was great in the 12.5 size! Now in the 13 and 13.5 size, it does not fit because of seeming manufacturing/quality issues. So disappointed.Last year my review was 5 stars, this year it's 2, so maybe that lands us at 3-1/2 stars?
my little ballerina loves them
This is the third size of this particular Bloch shoe and my daughter says it is too low in the back and it keeps coming off. We are going to try a different brand.
My 5 year old is a beginner in ballet. So we went with a softer more flexible shoe/brand. We tried these and they were extremely small and narrow. For reference, she wears a size 12 in crocs clogs, a size 1 in these was way too small. She couldn’t even get her foot in, the heel is also very shallow and toe box very narrow.Ballet shoes are always 2 sizes too small. But these were 3 sizes too small. She wears a 1 in other brands comfortably.
The only thing that doesn't quite suit my daughter is that it doesn't stay up on her heel. They are the correct size, but the heel slides off very easily.
Bloch is my go to brand of ballet shoe. Weve bought several similar styles of bloch and never had an issue with sizing. These run extremely small. When I pulled shoe out of box it looked like a toddlers size. Id say size up 2 to 3 sizes.
