Got these for my daughter who is 8yrs old. I had read the comments of they run small so I got her a size 3 when she wears a street shoe size 1. They are as I expected a little big about a half size so they will last for a little while. Very happy with them and my daughter says they are super comfortable.
I bought these for my 7 year old granddaughter for her hip hop class. I ordered one size up after reading other reviews and they fit perfectly.
My daughter didn’t feel these were comfortable to dance in. She has a pair of Adidas Grand Courts that work very well for Hip Hop. These seemed too clunky
You should order up to 2 sizes bigger than you need. They are great shoes but the sizing is super small.
These are a very nice quality jazz/hip-hop shoe. I bought a couple of different brands because I wasn't sure what would fit the best, and these were by far the nicest quality (and the most expensive, but I digress)... This is a lot of money for a child's dance shoe, and several of the other brands I found here on Amazon fit and felt just fine for less, but if you want a really comfortable, well-made shoe, this is the one to buy.
I have small, wide feet. I typically wear a size 2 or 3 shoe in kids and sometimes I can do a size 5 in womens. I have bought several pairs of these shoes for zumba over the past 10 years. They work better than any of the tennis shoes or slip on covers for tennis shoes. I feel it gives me enough support to be jumping and dancing around. The soles work great for sliding.
They run very small but my daughter was still able to dance in them. She wears a 1 traditionally so I should have purchased the 2.5.
The Units measurement of the BLOCH shoes are different. They are smaller.Beware
