The Bloch Child Ballet Shoes are tailored for young dancers looking for a blend of comfort, style, and durability. Crafted from premium soft leather, these shoes offer exceptional support while allowing natural movement during ballet performances. The full suede outsole adds to the flexibility vital for dance routines, ensuring that little feet can perform without restrictions. One of the standout features is the pre-sewn elastic strap, which not only secures the shoe in place but also enhances stability, making them ideal for energetic dance sessions.
Founded in 1932 in Sydney by Jacob Bloch, this brand has set benchmarks in the technical dance market. While they are renowned for their handmade pointe shoes used by professional dancers worldwide, the introduction of offerings like the Belle ballet flat showcases their commitment to innovation in dance footwear.

When it comes to ballet shoes for toddlers, the Bloch Child Ballet Shoes stand out due to their thoughtful combination of comfort and performance. The premium soft leather upper not only looks appealing but also conforms beautifully to the shape of your child’s foot, providing lasting comfort throughout long practice sessions.
The flexibility of the full suede outsole is particularly noteworthy. It allows for the necessary movements involved in ballet without feeling restrictive, which is crucial for developing technique at a young age. Furthermore, the heart sock liner is an ingenious addition that helps keep little feet dry, making it easier for kids to focus on their dancing rather than discomfort.
One of the main selling points is the easy-to-use elastic strap closure. This designed approach promotes independence among toddlers learning to put on their own shoes. Parents will appreciate the durability that comes with reinforced stitching, meaning they can invest in a pair of shoes that will withstand the rigors of both classroom and performance settings.
However, like all products, the Bloch Child Ballet Shoes do have minor drawbacks. For instance, some children may need time to adapt to the fit and feel of a more traditional ballet shoe as opposed to softer alternatives. Additionally, the limited color options may not appeal to every young dancer's personal style.
Overall, the Bloch Child Ballet Shoes combine elegance, functionality, and comfort, solidifying their status as a reliable choice for budding ballet dancers.

My daughter has wide feet and has comfortably recently been in size 7 shoes - I'm glad I bought size 8, because they barely fit right and anything smaller definitely wouldn't work. I think dance shoes just run small, so plan on that. The quality and feel is excellent and a good price!
They run a size or two bigger than the shoe size (maybe 1-1.5 sizes bigger in ballet shoes) - but these are the best ballet shoes, don't gape in the front and really hug the foot nicely, like ballet slippers should!!
Most of my daughters' shoes are sizes 11 and 11.5. I ordered the size 12 ballet slippers and they were a bit smaller than expected! They fit, but won't for long. I am very happy with the quality and will get these again. I love that they don't have elastic strings to tighten and tie a bow - both of my girls get so irritated with ballet shoes that have those (the bows never *look just right*).
I preferred Bloch among the three brands.Bloch is made in Cambodia. Integrated insole with cotton lining is comfortable.Capezio, ranked second, is made in Thailand. The adjustable strap is an nifty feature. The sole separates into two part and connect by mesh - interesting design but not sure of durability.Stelle, ranked third, is made in China. Semi-detachable insole could curl up over time (integrated insole is better).
I love these ballet shoes and this brand. I went up a full size from street shoes and chose wide width and they’re perfect for my 6 year old daughter who wears 13 in street shoes, with medium width feet.
Bloch makes the best ballet slippers EVER!What I love:• The soft pink color is PERFECT.•The feel and fit of these shoes is excellent.•My seven-year-old daughter has a narrow foot, but the narrow size was actually TOO narrow. The medium size fits perfectly and hugs her foot just right.• The leather is soft and has not marked up easily, which I appreciate. What I don’t love:•Nothing, actually! These are the perfect beginner ballet slippers and I will be purchasing the next size larger as long as she takes ballet.
Size wise might be on a smaller side. Otherwise good quality product.
These are beautiful ballet slippers, and seem very comfortable... but omg, very very small. Will have to re-order two or so sizes bigger.
