I have worn these particular Allrounders for about a year now. After four years of severe foot pain, nerve pain & walking discomfort, I have spent thousands on shoes. Personally, I can't wear Brooks, Asics, Allbirds, Vionic, etc. and honestly, most modern walking shoes are absolutely hideous, in my view. But for the concerns that I have most soles of today's walking shoes are way too sponge-y and are not helpful for me. I was happy to have found these shoes and though they're not amazing looking I do think they're far less cringey than most walking shoes out there. There was a great sales price here on Amazon so I bought two more in black (lest they stop making the Vitesse model). I do have a lot of Mephistos in my closet (far more expensive than Allrounders) but these are my daily go-to shoes since I can mostly only wear walking shoes at the moment. I also have Vitesse in white and the blue colorways. The insoles do easily come out if you need to wear orthotics with them. I feel they have a little 'bounce' to them but mostly they are just stable and have decent shock absorption without being overly mushy underfoot. I feel they have an average width and sizing is generally consistent (though 1 pair I bought direct from Mephisto was a bit 'short'). Overall, I'd say Vitesse is a great walking shoe that lasts and is not obnoxious looking. Give it a try and see what you think!
Stylish enough to wear as a fashion sneaker, but so comfortable I have worn them jogging. I get a lot of compliments on them. They are true to size with cushioned insoles and nice arch support. I’ll by this brand again.
