Wonderful walking shoes! This is my fourth pair!I wear them all over The City! My podiatrist loves them.I have them in brown, wine, black suede and now blue. If I need to wear a more formal shoe, I wear these to the event then switch to “ fancy” shoes for the event.
I really like the look of the shoe, and it seems like a shoe that would hold up over time.However, it was not for me.... the most major issue is that it doesn't have enough arch support. In fact, even with making it tight across the strap, no arch support was noticeable. The shoe is very stiff, which may be a benefit to some people.I also found the shoe to be too long. There was far too much room at the toes while the rest of the shoe fit ok. I typically wear a 6.5, which is what I ordered. It is possible that the 6 would have fit me better. But given my other issues with the shoe, I will be returning this and not trying the smaller shoe.
I have 7 prs in various colors because they suit my life style. Fit perfect. Feel safe in them. Can wear for exercise too. Glad I found them. Looking for navy with white soles.
This is the only shoe I’ve been wearing since 2008. I had 4 knee replacement operations due to excess scar tissue (arthrofibrosis). Due to complications I needed special orthotics and a shoe that would accommodate them and this was recommended. I remove the insert and place my orthotics in. I don’t imagine the insert that comes with these would be sufficiently for most people. Custom orthotics average $600 but podiatrists now sell ready made ones to insert for &35 to $65 to slip in these shoes.These shoes are excellent quality and they last longer than many shoes do. I love the Velcro on the strap and heel as when they stretch over time you can tighten them. They also are dressier than sneakers and wear them for casual or a dressier look. I wear black for cooler weather and light beige for warm weather. You can also get mesh/suede for breathablility or totally enclosed for colder weather. You get what you pay for and anyone with problems with walking or complications, these shoes are wonderful…5 stars!
