These are my new favorite shoe, I got the black pair to keep it neutral I love them!
Leap like a Gazelle!
PASS!!!! The shoe is nice and almost perfect. The tongue of the shoes makes so much noise when you walk. It squeaks!!!!!!!!! Not a little bit but a lot. If you are in a library with these shoes you will get kicked out….just saying! Unless you like announcing you have arrived EVERYWHERE then these shoes are for you. (;
The tongue of these sneakers, like most Sambas, is very long and rubs the front of the ankle. The shoes are really cool, but ill-fitting on me.
At first, I was not a fan because I felt the arch support was strange but then I stuck in my powerstep insole after pulling out the original insoles. These shoes feel great. Due to plantar fasciitis and a heel spur, I need the extra cushion and support but I think most people will be fine with the insoles as is. I just needed something more stylish than my grandma walking shoes to wear out.There are virtually no reviews on these shoes, on youtube, it is all show and tell, just for looks. It is a beautiful shoe (i got the shadow red color, which is like burgundy).I was also considering the vans platskool but those are way heavier and the insoles are super flat. It isn’t as a well made well shoe as the adidas, which is lighter in weight, and much more stylish. The details of the gazelles are great. I find them wider than the regular gazelles and of course, heavier with the triple stack bottoms. I might get these in more colors if adidas would just stop doing weird colors with the women’s shoes. The green and blue pairs were nice but I am not a fan of the pink trims.I sized 1/2 down from size 6 to 5.5 and sizewise, they were fine. most people may need to size 1 full size down.
These shoes are great, except that the tongue on the shoe is made with recycled materials that squeak when you walk. I thought that being suede shoes, the tongue would be as well. I’ll definitely not be sneaking up on anyone in these shoes. I was going to order in another color as well, but the sound they make when walking is super irritating. They also run a bit wide.Other than that, they are super cute.
