The ACE Work Boots by SFC Defender Low are more than just ordinary work boots. When you first put them on, the comfort level is immediately noticeable, thanks to the cushioned insole that molds well to your foot shape. This makes them suitable for extended wear, especially during demanding workdays.
In terms of traction, the Gladiator Outsole lives up to its name, providing excellent grip on both wet and oily surfaces. The TRIPGUARD feature effectively reduces the chances of tripping, allowing you to move confidently across varying terrains.
While the water-resistant treatment works well in most scenarios, it's advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to extreme moisture. Care instructions are straightforward as these boots can be machine washed, making maintenance hassle-free.
However, if you require steel-toe protection, the non-metallic soft toe may not suffice for certain industrial settings. Additionally, some users have reported that sizing can vary, so try them on before purchasing if possible.

I am HARD on shoes. Simply put. I am a nightmare on any work shoes I buy, and for a good while I was using the Avia non-slip work shoes. The problem with those is they are unfortunately getting made cheaper and last only 4-6 months before falling apart. I wanted to give SFC a try, and see if they make theirs any better for the $3 more that I paid.I measured my feet and found that I should fit 9.5 in women's, which is my regular size. When they came in, I adjusted the laces a bit, found the comfortable position of the laces for my feet, and was very happy to see that 9.5 fit perfectly and also gave me a little bit of toe room (which is hard to come by with wider feet). The insole- They come with a very spongy, sort of comfortable insole that for me, in a third shift, always moving around work week, only lasted that one week before I went for my go-to replacement insoles. This is something I'm used to, as the hours of standing usually wreck a standard insole that comes with any shoe, so not anything I would ding these for.The outer sole- WOW, do these have some grip. It took me some time to get used to the actual grip, as other 'non-slip' shoes I've worn don't typically grip the tile at my work so much. When I say these grip, I often think that my shoes are sticky, because I feel the sole gripping and sticking to the floor between steps. The Water Repellent material - Is actually pretty good at repelling water. Only time I've felt water was when I dropped some steaming mop water on the top of my shoe, and I didn't even feel the water, it was just the heat! We'll see what the rainy season does to these shoes, as that's when the glues, stitching, etc usually gets a beating as I walk to work in these 5 days a week. That all being said, I've worn these shoes 5 days a week, walking anywhere between 2-4 miles a night around my job, for almost 2 months now. They have served me well and even through a toe injury, they were very comfortable to work in.
These things are huge. Very wide, tall shoe. My foot was flopping around
