I just received these TEVA boots, April, 2023 to wear during future trip to rainy Alaska (July, 2023). It is funny that a few reviews say this boot runs small. For me, it did not. In a tennis shoe or boot, I always order a 9M... and I ordered a 9M. This TEVA was plenty roomy in the toe box where I like space for my toes. When I tightened the laces, it fit snug around my foot (good there too). It is a very comfortable & nice looking boot... and has nice traction. I haven't wore them outside yet. Before I do, I may try on an 8.5 just to be 100% sure. But I have a feeling I will be staying with the size 9M and wearing a heavier sock. Sorry, I can't speak to long term wear. But TEVA has a good reputation and rating. I also ordered cute colorful fun hiking socks to go with them.
The quality I've grown to expect ! This shoe fits well and looks good. The only issue is that the shoelaces are to short...I have to eliminate the top lacing holes just to have enough to tie them. That's a first four me. But overall very satisfied.
Got these because I need more cushioning in my shoes. Love Teva sandals for that reason and decided to take a chance on these boots. Also, they were a very good price! Did take off one star because they run small! Usually wear 9, ordered 10 and could have used 1/2 size larger. Just fit comfortably but won’t be wearing thick socks! They are very comfortable right out of the box. Soles and insoles are very cushy and comfortable for a hiking boot. The boots seem to be well made with sturdy stitching. The soles are aggressive, no slipping and sliding! Some mentioned that the boot is hard to get on. I have high arches and didn’t have any more trouble than I usually do getting my foot into a boot. All in all these are really nice hiking boots. Hopefully, will last me awhile!!
I bought these to take on safari in Botswana. I wore them right out of the box, walking in the rain on a weekend glamping trip. They were comfortable and kept my feet dry. Which is wonderful, so they will be perfect for my safari trip.
I just love these shoes as soon as I got them, It was like walking on cushions, Make a 3 + mile walk feel like nothing . I was so happy with them I ordered another pair.
The material around the toe box started cracking after TWO months of light use. I have only worn them for a 2-mile walks in dirt/gravel/pavement surfaces a few times a month. Sometimes the conditions were dry, sometimes wet. The boots were always stored indoors when not in use. I tried to return them due to a manufacturer defect and was told I have to pay non-refundable shipping to return them because they were ordered on Amazon and not through Teva's website. I'm thinking of small claims court. That way I can recoup the filing fees when I get a judgment for a refund and won't be out the added return shipping costs.
Arrived quickly
Teva is one of my favorite companies going way back many years. I tried the shoe in a size 7 and I felt like it ran small compared to Ultra and Topo Athletic in terms of other brands that have a wide toebox. So I'm gonna try a bigger size when the price drops, of course. I'll let you know.
