I am not a “gym shoe” girl. Ive always just worn $15 shoes from target or walmart- but I needed some good shoes (that werent falling apart) to wear on my backpacking trip. It was hard to find a shoe that didnt feel or look bulky, but I am so glad I found these. I love the color and the style is nice and slim but still has support and is so comfortable. Didnt even have to break these in, they were comfortable right off the bat. I walked through puddles and mud and my feet stayed dry! Good traction too.
This shoe was not exactly what I was looking for as it is bulkier like a hiking shoe rather than an every day shoe, but nontheless the quality is very good and material is tightly woven so it is water resistant, maybe not waterproof. The colors are rockin as well! I have struggled with plantars fascia problems and wear inserts in all my shoes- but don't need it in this one! Good rubber sole grip (I live on a sailboat) and fits as expected (I have narrow feet and these fit just fine the laces tighten up well). I recommend for a cute supportive shoe for everyday walking, occasional hiking and water resistance!
I was looking for a shoe that was water proof and could handle the rainy and cold weather of Seattle living in an apartment with a dog that would require daily outdoor trips now that we no longer had a yard. These are everything I wanted and more! I was mostly hoping to find a tennis-style-shoe that would stop soaking my socks every time I walked outside in the rain. And these keep my feet comfortable without suffocating them and, unless something comes over the top, completely dry! I don’t even have to wear thick socks! My only little warning would be to order true to size, I’m 9.5/10 women’s and have equally sizes 9.5 and 10, depending on brands so buying online I always tend to go higher, but I feel like these 10’s are just slightly a smidge too big so a 9.5 really would have been perfect. But, no lie I love these. I walk a couple miles in them daily and use them while riding my bike and they are just truly the best shoe I think I could have found! It just snowed and I never had cold or wet feet and even today when the ground was soaked in a couple inches of water, I still didn’t have cold or wet feet!!!!!! Love these shoes!!!
So far so good. I've been wearing them around the neighborhood on our walks just to get used to them and make sure they are broken in before we go on vacation. I've gotten no blisters so far, so that's good. I do have to say my toes go a little numb but I've had problems not stepping correctly when I run. When I become aware of the problem I correct it. I also recommend getting some hiking socks, I've been wearing my low profile ones and keep getting dirt/twigs/grass in them. A little annoying since they stab into you, maybe do to the cloth material around the ankle.
I have a lot of Teva shoes and sandals, and I've come to rely on them for work and casual footwear. These cute shoes were a very welcome change to my wardrobe. They were comfortable enough to wear all day--right out of the box. I typically need shoes a little wider in the toe box, and with some arch support, or the shoes will quickly migrate to the back of the closet. I wear an 8.5, and these fit perfectly. I will definitely purchase these in other colors as soon as they are available.
I loved the style and color scheme of this shoe. It offers good support for a walking all around shoe. I was disappointed in the quality though. I paid a high price for a good brand and so I expected better quality. After wearing this shoe only two or three times, the material starting fraying on the edges as seen in the picture.
I like these for their light weight. They have a mildly supportive insole, very flexible sole, and are fairly roomy in the toe. They are a touch on the wide side, esp. in the heel. I ended up returning them because they weren't different enough from some sneakers I use for hiking and I wanted something with a bit more structure and solid sole for trails. If I didn't already have something similar, I would have kept them.
I have always work Chacos for and have never own sneakers before. I decided to try a pair and these were the ones I chose.I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I did 5mi on the first hike out, 1,700-odd-ft elevation gain. I brought sandals in my backpack in case of blisters when breaking them in; though there was no need. These sneakers were super comfortable, the grip was faultless (while my friend slid some on the loose gravel downhill), and no sweat/hot/uncomfortable feet the whole hike through.I would recommend.
