The Teva Men's Grandview GTX Low Hiking Shoe excels in providing comfort and support. The wider toe box is particularly noteworthy as it allows for natural toe movement, minimizing discomfort during long treks. Featuring an adjustable Universal Heel Lock System, you can secure your foot effectively, which is crucial for tackling downhill paths without feeling excessive pressure on your toes.
In terms of durability, the premium leather used in the shoe's upper not only adds a luxurious touch but also stands up well against rugged terrains. Moreover, the quick-dry mesh is a welcome addition, ensuring that even after a stream crossing or sudden rain, your shoes won’t stay soaked for long.
The performance of the GORE-TEX bootie is impressive, keeping moisture at bay while preventing overheating. For avid hikers who often navigate varied environments, these features make the Grandview GTX a strong contender. The EVA-foam midsole and responsive PU footbed collectively contribute to the shoe’s overall cushioning, making long-distance hiking a more pleasant experience.
One of the standout aspects of this shoe is the VIBRAM Megagrip outsole. It provides excellent traction, essential for maintaining stability on slippery surfaces. Whether you are facing muddy trails or rocky paths, you can trust that these shoes will help keep you grounded.
However, be prepared for a brief break-in period; while they become increasingly comfortable over time, initial wear might present some stiffness. Additionally, if you're someone who prefers a broader range of colors, you may find the options somewhat limited.

The shoes fit great, I usually wear and 8.5 and purchased an 8.5, they fit just fine. Plenty of room for my toes. I went for a few walks around my neighborhood to break them in, I then went on a 6.5 mile hike with about 1000' elevation, I didn't experience any blisters or uncomfortable rubbing.
I got these shoes for my daughter who is an avid hiker. She tried on 6 different shoes (thanks to Amazon's try-before-you-buy service) from all the big names in hiking shoe companies. Ultimately, this was the shoe for her. She loved the look and the durability of the shoe. The leather and goretex combination means good support, good wear, and good durability. She fell in love with the unique heel support strap on this shoe and has been on several hikes along the Appalachian Trail with them. So far, she has over 180 miles on these shoes, and there is barely any signs of wear. This is simply a terrific shoe.
Another great Boot that ran a bit small. It was hard to return but a tight toe while hiking isn’t ideal. Love Tevas so will order a size up next season.
I am a hiker recovering from surgery to remove neuromas in my feet. I have had to be very careful in the shoes I purchase for comfort and ability to walk/hike in comfort. These are it! They are roomy enough in the toe area to give me enough space but not to roomy that my feet move about. They were comfortable from the start and did not require a break in period. I also wear them for work, where I can be on my feet up to 6 hours.
Ugly aside they seem to fit size 11 the size I wear most of the time. I like the color green and brown, seem to be light weight, but they are a little clunky. In a big city like Chicago no body cares what you wear , no outdoor competition here, as long as you got clothing on.. So unless these turn out to be too big for me they are a keeper
Great for wide feet and waterproof with great tread.
I bought a pair size 6.5 at a local shoe store and walked around my house in them. They were very comfortable but a little small with thicker socks so I returned them and ordered a 7 on Amazon. I wore them today and they lacked the cushioned comfort of the other pair and rubbed a blister on my foot so I'm returning them.
