The Skechers Sport Women's Edgemont Hiking Shoe truly shines when it comes to comfort. With its Relaxed Fit® design, you’ll enjoy a roomy toe box that allows for natural movement, making long hikes more enjoyable. The lace-up closure ensures that you can adjust the fit according to your preference, giving you a personalized feel that is often hard to find in other hiking shoes.
Performance-wise, the anti-slip sole is one of the standout features, providing reliable traction regardless of the surface. Whether you’re tackling slippery rocks or muddy trails, the Edgemont gives you the stability you need, allowing you to focus on your surroundings rather than worrying about your footing. Additionally, the rubber sole material adds to its durability, making this shoe suitable for frequent use.
Another significant advantage of these hiking shoes is their water resistance. They offer a protective barrier against moisture, which can be invaluable when hiking in unpredictable weather. However, it’s important to note that while they resist water, they are not completely waterproof, so extreme conditions should still be approached with caution.
In terms of style, the Chestnut color offers versatility, enabling you to seamlessly transition from the trail to casual settings without needing to change shoes. This multifunctionality makes them a good investment for those who don’t want to carry multiple pairs of footwear.
On the downside, some users have reported that the shoes require a breaking-in period, which may not be ideal for those looking for immediate comfort. Additionally, while the overall cushioning is decent, individuals with specific arch support needs may find it lacking.

They fit perfectly well and they're comfortable.
I was worried the "relaxed fit" would be a problem for my narrow feet, but they are fine!I've gotten compliments on these. Why buy an expensive hiking shoe when you can get these at half the price? And you don't have to break them in. I am a casual hiker and work on my feet all day. These are holding up great so far (it's been about 2-3 months) and are quite comfortable.
They are so very comfortable. I didn't even have to break them in.
These are very good for the price . Great looking and comfortable. Good grip and ankle protection . Pretty good waterproofing . I hiked through waterfalls and in snow . Not recommended for melting snow but Goodyear soles worked great everywhere else
Amazing quality from Skechers, amazing value. Even better in person than in the pictures!
Needed a pair of hiking shoes, found these Skechers. I love Skechers shoes, so I gave these a try. They are exactly what I needed. Love them.
This is the only pair of Sketchers I've ever tried that I didn't absolutely love. Something weird about the fit above the top of the foot. It's sort of loose - even after tightening the laces (and I have wide feet). These are going back.
These boots are great!! I have extremely wide feet, and I am clumsy. I was working at a Habitat site and needed something for protection and stability. I needed boots that would be “rugged” but comfortable all day on a construction site. These were the right call.I walked over 20,000 steps though dirt and hilly areas and through massive tire tracks. I feel sure I would have twisted an ankle with regular tennis shoes. I think most boots would have been agony. They never felt tight, and my feet did not hurt at the end of a very long day.I plan to just hose them off and let them air dry outside.I got the black/natural. If other colors were on sale in my size, I would definitely buy them.
