When it comes to outdoor footwear, comfort, durability, and performance are crucial. The Ryka Women's Take A Hike Trail Shoe excels in all these areas. Its lightweight construction means you can wear them for hours on end without discomfort.
The RE-ZORB® LITE technology stands out, offering exceptional shock absorption and making every step less jarring on rocky or uneven terrain. This feature is especially beneficial during longer hikes where fatigue can set in more quickly.
Moreover, the TreadTech lug sole provides excellent grip, enhancing your stability on slippery surfaces. Whether you're crossing streams or tackling steep inclines, you can trust these shoes to keep you grounded.
Additionally, the thoughtful design caters specifically to women, which is often overlooked in many hiking boots. The cushioning is soft yet supportive, and the overall fit is snug but not constricting, allowing for natural foot movement.
On the downside, some users might find them slightly smaller than expected, so trying them on before purchasing is advisable. They are also not designed for highly technical hiking, but they perform wonderfully on casual trails.

I love love love this pair of hiking shoes. Was browsing Amazon to find a cute pair of durable waterproof hiking shoes for an upcoming trip. These shoes fit the bill. I got the 8 wide for extra room and I must say, they were super roomy and fit me like a glove at the same time. Excellent tread for good grippage with unpaved natural earth. Do yourself a favor and buy these.
Although these are incredibly comfortable and supportive on my wide feet, they weren’t the least bit waterproof despite being advertised as such. Huge disappointment! Happy to keep them, but dislike that I’ll have to determine ahead if I’ll be in a dry environment. I walked my dog through wet grass and my socks were sopping wet.
Rubber around the toe area starting coming loose during first wearing.
Very comfortable, feet don’t hurt after several miles of hiking. The only problem is when you put them on the back of the shoe turns in
The sneakers look exactly as pictured. I found that it would probably have been better to size up since the insoles are pretty thick. I had to switch to thinner insoles and it was perfect. They have great grip on the soles and have handles hikes and muddy terrain quite well.
The shoe fits perfectly. Love the color and design. Good treads for hiking… waterproof! Great value! No complaints.
I got these in my regular size + wide & hiked up mountains in Peru for a week in them. Waterproof, comfortable, zero blisters. I had a pair of north face hiking boots with me and still chose these every day bc I knew I would be more comfortable.
