The Propét Men's Vestrio Hiking Shoe excels in several areas that make it a solid choice for hikers and outdoor adventurers. Starting with its comfort level, the padded collar and tongue provide a snug fit around the ankle, reducing the risk of blisters during long hikes. The removable footbed allows for customization, enabling wearers to insert orthotic inserts if needed.
When it comes to performance, the shoe shines in wet conditions thanks to its Vibram® Arctic Grip® outsole, which features Wet-Ice Technology. This is particularly advantageous for those who enjoy hiking during colder seasons or in regions prone to rain.
Durability is another highlight; the combination of leather and mesh gives it a robust build, while TPU welding enhances its lifespan. Moreover, the EVA midsole, paired with the toe guard, provides protection against rocks and other trail debris.
However, it's worth noting that the wide fit may not suit everyone, particularly those with narrower feet. Some users have reported a slight break-in period, which is common with many hiking shoes. Overall, the Propét Men's Vestrio Hiking Shoe balances comfort, style, and performance, making it an excellent investment for anyone serious about their outdoor pursuits.

I purchased them for my son. He says they are too much the same as a pair he not long before had. It's a lovely, well constructed appearing shoe.
I paid $20.00 for these shoes. I got them today and am very impressed. Curiously though the exact same shoes are $128.00 now. Why is all I can say. I panicked and checked my bank account and called Amazon. I was only charged the $20.46. and Amazon has no answers. So at 78% savings I love them that much more. Strange times.
Worn Propet exclusively for years and this is the first pair (bought 24 on Amazon) I've ever sent back. I walk at least 5 miles daily and have used Propet Ridge Walkers when the weather gets cold. Tried these and it was a mistake. Shoes bent at the toe line, pinching and bruising my little toe. Tried four walks thinking they would break-in and it just got worse. They just didn't work for me.
I bought two pairs of these. They are kinda stiff not much padding so don’t buy for work shoes if your on feet all day as your feet will hurt. One pair had a lump under big toe but I didn’t notice until I wore at work(like soul was cut poorly)They look very nice.
A bargain at $28 but very stiff sole and on the small side. Solidly made and should be good for hiking and winter wear. Works OK with insole removed and thin socks. (Have now tried them out in snow and freezing slush - excellent grip and waterproof)
