The Propét Men's Visp Hiking Shoe is designed for those who love to hit the trails without compromising on comfort or support. This shoe features a precision knit combined with a leather upper, ensuring durability while offering a modern aesthetic. The padded collar and tongue provide additional cushioning, making long hikes feel effortless.
With practical pull-on tabs located at both the heel and tongue, getting these shoes on and off is a breeze, even when you're out in the wild. The standout feature here is the OrthoLite® X40™ insole, which provides top-tier rebound performance thanks to its impressive elasticity rating over 40%. This means your feet will stay comfortable and energized, no matter how many miles you cover.
To ensure a customized fit, an EVA spacer is included, allowing you to adjust the shoe to your liking. The EVA midsole works alongside the toe guard for added protection against rocks and debris you might encounter on your adventures. Plus, the Vibram® Arctic Grip® three-season traction outsole, enhanced with Wet-Ice Technology, ensures that you maintain grip even on slippery surfaces.

When it comes to hiking footwear, comfort and durability are paramount. The Propét Men's Visp Hiking Shoe excels in both areas. The choice of materials – a blend of precision knit and leather – not only enhances breathability but also offers significant protection against the elements. You will appreciate the padded collar and tongue, especially during longer hikes, as they help prevent chafing and irritation.
The technology packed into this shoe is commendable. With the OrthoLite® X40™ insole, you can be confident of exceptional cushioning and support that adapts well to various terrains. Whether you're trekking through rocky paths or muddy trails, this shoe’s EVA midsole delivers the comfort you need to keep going. Furthermore, the inclusion of a toe guard protects your feet from unexpected obstacles, ensuring you can focus on your adventure rather than worrying about foot injuries.
On the subject of traction, the Vibram® Arctic Grip® outsole stands out. Its Wet-Ice Technology gives you peace of mind when traversing slippery surfaces, making these shoes ideal for all-season hiking. However, it’s worth noting that some users have reported needing a break-in period before achieving perfect comfort, and while the weight is manageable, it does lean towards being heavier compared to some other options on the market.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a reliable pair of hiking shoes that balances comfort, support, and style, the Propét Men's Visp should definitely be on your list. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or someone just starting to explore, these shoes are equipped to handle a variety of terrains and conditions.

These shoes are WONDERFUL. They look even better in person, beautiful craftsmanship, sturdy construction. I wear an EXTRA extra-wide, so I was worried they'd be too narrow but they're just right. And when I wished they might still be 1-2% less snug, I discovered Propet adds a SECOND removable insole which I removed and made the fit even more comfortable. I love these and just ordered a second pair (navy blue).
Very comfortable and priced nice
I have wide feet. These were to narrow for me.
The sole material is too soft. After a couple months they wedged out. The far outside edge permanently squished down while the inside edge does not, after a month or too it stops returning, and becomes a permanent sideways wedge as if you where standing on the side of your feet. I wish they would index the stiffness and durability of the foam.
They are "water resistant" not waterproof, despite being advertised as such. Too bad i put 3 miles on them before I realized or would have returned them.Follow up:Wore these on a 5 mile hike in September and the sole fell off about 3 miles in. First and last experiment with Propets.
