The Oboz Women's Jeannette Low Hiking Shoe, available in an elegant Forest Shadow color, pays homage to Jeannette Rankin, the first woman elected to the U.S. Congress. This shoe uniquely combines functionality with style, featuring a blend of Repreve recycled fibers, suede outer, and a durable nubuck leather rand. The rough-out suede leather and carefully crafted deboss detailing create a stunning finish that is just as impressive in performance as it is in aesthetics.

These shoes are awesome, very comfortable, but when I first put them on, they felt way too big. I was disappointed, because my Oboz Bozeman are my favorite shoes. I’ve never had shoes with elastic laces, and I wondered if the laces of these could be adjusted. I searched the box for instructions and I searched Oboz’s website for instructions, but I found none at all, which was frustrating. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I pulled the laces out and tied a second, closer knot on both sides. On one shoe, I tied knots a couple inches in and on the other, just an inch in. After I did this, the shoes felt much more comfortable, so I decided to not return them. I plan to try out the two different lengths for a few days, decide what’s most comfortable, then cut them accordingly. I guess I’m supposed to cut them?? Seems strange to do, but having the laces stick straight out seems ever stranger. Oboz really need to include instructions, because most people will never have had shoes with laces like these and won’t know they can be adjusted. One customer who wrote a bad review here simply returned hers, saying they were way too big. If Oboz had included instructions in the box or online, she might have gotten to find a new favorite pair of shoes, which I think this pair could become for me!
My husband kept asking me to get a pair of Oboz. Usually I buy hiking shoes but decided to go with a casual shoe this time. It is incredibly comfortable and fits like a glove! I have worn it to walk on gravel trails and some small hills and it performed well. If I was headed to the back country I would take hiking shoes, but it’s nice to have an everyday shoe that can also handle easy trails.
I don't hike, but I'm on my feet 8 hours or more a day. They are very comfortable and and have great arch support. I picked the teal/torqouise because it was different. I want more colors!!!! I highly recommend these shoes.
Too long and too narrow - I asked for 6 wide and got 9 extra narrow.
Daughter with wide feet wears these without complaint, size 8. Typically balks at idea of wearing sneakers due to high arch and width. Also, nice quality. Wife has a pair size 8.5 and is very happy with the way they are holding up, durable and comfortable.
nice looking. slip on. great look.
I liked the shoe but I did not like the elastric shoestrings. It did not allow me to tighten up as much as I like & I was concerned that as I wore the shoes, they would stretch & loosen & the tightness of the shoestring would be even more of an issue. So, I sent them back.
Did not even need to break in before a hike up a big hill . Excellent fit, comfortable and cute on the feet 👣 highly recommend
