When it comes to hiking shoes, the Northside Women's Snohomish Low-W stands out for several reasons. Firstly, the waterproof feature is incredibly useful for unpredictable weather, ensuring that your feet remain comfortable and dry, whether you're trekking through mud or encountering unexpected rain.
The molded midsole with a protective toe cap adds an extra layer of safety, which is vital when navigating rocky paths. The contoured removable insole not only enhances comfort but also allows you to customize the fit based on your needs.
While the shoe shines in terms of functionality, its stylish design makes it versatile enough for casual outings too. The lightweight nature of the shoe contributes to overall comfort during longer hikes, making it a go-to choice for weekend adventures.
However, it's important to note that while the traction outsole provides solid grip for everyday hiking, it may not perform exceptionally well on very challenging terrains when compared to more specialized hiking shoes.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a balance of comfort, style, and reasonable pricing in a hiking shoe, the Northside Women's Snohomish Low-W is definitely worth considering.

Absolutely love these. I ordered the size I always wear and there isvroom for semi thick socks. I wear a 9 and they don't make my feet look big. I think they are very stylish and comfortable. They are a tad heavy but not more than other hiking shoes I have owned. Shipping was right on schedule and fast.
I am very happy with these shoes. They have the best quality you could get and the price was very reasonable. They are waterproof and also they are not heavy. I had a great experience hiking with these shoes.
I had to return the shoe in my normal size of 9 1/2 and re-order a size 10 for this shoe to fit with a normal, not heavy sock. This fits smaller than other shoes I have purchased of this brand Northside. This is a firm shoe with decent support. I can't feel 2 inch gravel through the sole. But the size 10 came with shoelaces that are too short. The shoe narrows at the toes making the toe box snugger than the rest of the shoe. The right shoe has the 2 eyelets for the shoe lace off center so the shoe looks laced up crooked. But it is a sturdy shoe. So I took two stars off for poor quality control. Otherwise this would be a good shoe if you size up. If you want to wear a winter weight heavy sock you may well need to size up a whole size. With a larger shoe I can wear them comfortably for about 8 hours.
I originally purchased the same hiking shoe in my true size based on some reviews; however, they were too small and had to be returned. I went up a half size and the fit was much better. They are extremely comfortable but heavier than my previous pair of hiking shoes. I'm glad I wore thinner hiking socks...if any thicker, I might have had to go up another half size. Our hike was a moderate level through steep inclines, many mossy rocks and thick forest tree trunks. Both mountain climbs totaled about 4-5 hours, and the shoes held up really well with very minimal slipping on rocks. We didn't experience any streams, so I can't comment whether or not they are waterproof. During our climb, they were very comfortable and allowed me to move quickly. One shortcoming to mention is that my toes painfully pressed against the toe of the shoes during our descent (and yes, I know enough to descend "heel-toe"). I've never experienced this with other hiking shoes, and I don't know what I could do to prevent it from happening again.
A little large, but very comfortable. Should’ve bought a size down
Fast shipping. Ordered my size and they fit very well...with room for thick socks. Very comfy. They feel sturdy but not too heavy. Let's see how they hold up on a hiking trip to Machu Picchu...
I wear them every day for most of the day. I ordered a half size bigger and can wear two pairs of socks and have plenty of room for my toes when hiking, running, etc. I ordered a pair of Columbia at the same time. The Columbia weren't as comfortable and more pricey, so I returned them.
I am going on a trip to Glacier National Park this summer and I was looking for a pair of hiking shoes. I looked at many different pairs on Amazon and read reviews. I decided to try these and after reading the reviews I thought I should probably order a size 7.5 despite the fact that I usually wear a 7. When the shoes came I tried them on the 7.5 was too big, my heel was slipping and there was a lot of extra room in the toe area. I immediately jumped right on Amazon and ordered the 7 -- well the arrived yesterday and they were too small! I thought maybe I would try walking around in them, but I only put one shoe on before realizing they were just too short and not even walking around to "break them in" was going to help. I was very disappointed that the sizing is so off on these shoes. So now in the last 4 days I have returned both pairs of shoes. So to be fair, they don't fit as expected but they didn't fit any other choice :(
