I got them because I was working in wet yards, under crawlspaces treating homes for mold after hurricane Dorian. I'd ruined a pair of sneakers and waders were too sweaty. I was searching for a replacement when these popped up, on sale, on Amazon. They're advertised as a hiking boot but they're perfect for walking through saturated, yards that look dry but aren't. Waterproof, comfortable and nice-looking. Considering buying a second pair to wear every-other day.
I purchased these shoes to wear around the yard when working outside. I purchased based on price and I was not overly concerned about their look. The reason I am not giving them a higher rating is that I don't think they are going to hold up as well as some other name brand shoes I've bought in the past. The shoes seem to run small, but I think some of that has to due with the thick lining. The upper back of the shoe does not hold it's shape very well. I occasionally will just slip my foot in and let my heel squish the back of the shoe. I know, not good and not how they were intended to be worn, but sometimes i don't like bending down and going through the process. So, the heels seem to crush easily and not really snap back to their original shape. Again, i do this with many brands of shoes from time to time and I'm just pointing out that these seem to be made a little differently. I've had these for a few months and I am pretty hard on them and they are hold up. They were a good price, but next time I might spend a few more dollars and get something a little nicer.
Nice quality hiking shoes. Good tread/grip and pretty comfortable. I wear a size 11 and they ran just a bit small in the middle of the foot, but they might just need to be broken in a little more.
Super comfortable and waterproof. No weird arch bumps or anything, just nice flat comfort. Im 250 lbs and wear them all day.
The product was comfortable out of the box and during my week of trekking around the English countryside the waterproofing was great, but after returning to Hong Kong is feels like the left shoe shrank and now it really pinches my foot. I read that they tend to size small but 13 was the largest size available and in all my other purchases it has been ok . Durable comfortable shoe but they need to get the sizing correct
Really good. A little narrow for me but great value.
I ride shoe size 12 and standard width. because of the thick insole, these boots do not have enough space in width. after replacing the insoles fit perfectly. the sole itself is very soft. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase.
I wore these one day. The stitching began to open on the outside of one shoe. The metal lace loop pulled out while I was walking on the other shoe. All in one day! Yikes!
