When it comes to performance, the Merrell Women's Vapor Glove 6 excels in several areas.
Comfort: While they may lack the plush cushioning found in more traditional sneakers, the comfort level is on par for minimalist shoes. The padded heel adds a layer of shock absorption that is particularly beneficial for trail runners.
Fit: The fit is snug without being restrictive, accommodating various foot shapes thanks to the flexible mesh upper. The bellows tongue effectively keeps debris out while maintaining breathability, which is a plus for off-road adventures.
Durability: Given the eco-friendly materials used, the durability of the shoe can vary depending on usage. While the mesh is breathable, it may require careful use on rugged terrains to prolong its lifespan.
Style: Aesthetically, the Oyster/Atoll colorway offers a refreshing look that stands out. They easily transition from trail to casual wear without compromising style.
Overall, if you're seeking a lightweight, eco-conscious shoe that brings you closer to nature with every step, the Merrell Women's Vapor Glove 6 Sneakers are a solid choice. They truly embody the essence of barefoot running while providing adequate support and comfort.

I hate wearing closed toed shoes, sneakers, athletic shoes, etc. These are game changers! They are the perfect shoe for me: lightweight, barely there comfort, breathable, not an obnoxious color, and they fit perfectly! I'm glad that I didn't listen to the reviews that said to size down. They are true to size. I'm so happy to have finally found a shoe that I can stand for hiking and outdoor activities!
It is near impossible for me to find enclosed shoes that fit me. My foot measures 9.8 inches. and I have long toes. A size 9 is always too short but a 9.5 is huge and I usually stumble with them. These size 9.5s were perfect for me and the toe box is very generous in both width and depth. I also have a high instep and normally can't wait to kick off my shoes because there is so much pain in the top of my foot. These shoes have soft thick cushioning in the tongue, around the ankle, and in the heel. I can wear them with ultralight socks as well as cushioned ones and they still fit great. I never wear shoes without socks, but I have always found Merrells to be so well constructed that they would be comfortable enough without socks. Also, it is very easy to loosen the laces wide enough to get the shoe on and off, something that is usually a struggle because of my high instep.I'm not much of a runner, but rather bought these for slow jogging and power walking. I've been wearing barefoot shoes for years, so I had no problem getting used to these.. However, these are so comfortable that I'm keeping these for indoor use (they are more comfortable than going barefoot) and I have ordered a black pair for outdoor use. Also, I know that next year's model will most likely change, so I want to stock up on them.
Narrow at the middle of the foot, not a fan. Other than that they’re comfy
These shoes need no breaking in …. I took them out of the box and wore them all day. Comfort, secure on feet and they look great. Love them…
I love these budget-friendly, lightweight, versatile shoes. I've been wearing barefoot shoes almost exclusively for more than a year and these are the first sneakers I've bought that I want to wear daily. They look great with shorts, tennis skirts, and jeans. The mesh upper allows my feet to breathe, and I wear them with no-show toe socks. They run a little small, so you may want to go up half a size, especially if you have a prominent big toe like I do.
I have been wearing vibram fivefingers for 5 years. I love em but some of their styles are not lasting long. And some aggravate in-between my baby toes. So I decided to give these a try since they have a vibram sole. The sizing is kinda like vibram. I ordered an 8.5 and it was too big, so I ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly. My size in vibram is 7.5-8 because I don't wear socks. But I can wear a thin sock. I appreciate that my toes are comfortable and not aggravated. I wanted them to fit snug because just like vibram they relax after some wears and form to your feet. I plan on using these in the gym and everyday when needed. I'll update how they feel when doing leg days. I like to feel my feet working. Not so sure how long these with last. Also, if I'm paying almost a 100 dollars; I would appreciate the box it comes in.Update: not the same as vibram but they are ok when doing my leg days. Vibram is still my favorite and my feet are use to them.
I like how comfortable and light these shoes are; they almost feel like going barefoot. Perfect for hiking and traveling. I use them in the gym and for walks.I would have given these shoes 5 stars, except that in less than 2 months (and not even with daily or heavy use), the treads in the middle of the right heel are totally worn flat off (see photo attached)! I have never had any of my shoes' treads wear out like that, not even after years of wear. This is very disappointing. I'm not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or the treads are just not very durable.
Nicely cushioned sneakers, very comfortable. Will look for Asics next time I need a new pair.
