The Merrell Women's Rubato Hiking Shoe is a standout choice for trail runners and hikers looking for maximum comfort without compromising performance. The innovative FloatPro Foam midsole not only provides unmatched cushioning but also ensures you remain agile on the trails.
The shoe’s upper, made from Jacquard and TPU, offers a combination of durability and breathability, keeping your feet fresh during extended use. The internal bootie construction and external rear sling add an extra layer of security, ensuring your heel stays locked in place throughout your run.
When it comes to traction, the Vibram MegaGrip outsole performs excellently, providing reliable grip on wet and dry conditions alike. This feature is particularly beneficial for those adventurous souls who might encounter varying terrain during their outdoor activities.
However, some users have noted that the shoe may require a break-in period before it feels completely comfortable, especially for those with wider feet. Additionally, while the price point is justified by the quality and performance, it does sit at a slightly higher range compared to similar options.
Overall, if you're seeking a versatile, high-performing hiking shoe that excels in both comfort and stability, the Merrell Women's Rubato should definitely be on your list.

I'm a female that weighs in at 250 lbs. I need supportive shoes with some cushion and a wide-toe box. Typically I order men's size 10.5 running or trail shoes. Merrell makes an excellent sneaker called Rubato that fits the bill perfectly. The shoes will last a couple of years with normal daily wear before they start to break down. Even then they make great shoes for around the house. I recently tried to order a new pair but they were not available in men's. So I ordered a woman's size 11. They are slightly shorter but still have the width I need. They are snug and I can really tell the difference when I use socks. I should've ordered an 11.5. But I use them without socks and they are just fine. I love the design and color, too.
These sneakers are beautiful. And they were significantly reduced in price. They are everything I would expect, and my size 11 fits me perfectly and the comfort is unmatched. I love this purchase.!!
Great for three mile walks.
shoes are fine but I need something with more toe room
The arch is so high in these, it has caused my ankle to roll out and I have developed ankle and foot pain. I wore them too long because of the price, but they are damaging my tendons so to the trash they go!
As described. Very comfortable.
