I've been a fan of Merrells for years because they're well-built, provide excellent support and consistently fit my foot well. I'm narrow in the heel but wider across the toe-box and Merrells don't pinch across that part of my foot. These are no exception. I wore them to hike a very rocky trail in the Picos de Europa (northern Spain) and locally in the Pacific NW woods. They provide great traction without being too stiff or heavy. Waterproof too. Highly recommended.
I loved these shoes. They were well made and light. I did return them because of the size but I think they are a well made shoe and comfortable.
These shoes are great. So comfortable with great arch support. Plenty of room in width and toe box. Keeps your feet warm and dry.
Solid product…would recommend you buy 0.5 size larger…comfortable
I wasn’t hopeful these shoes would work for me because I have wide feet. They were perfect. I bought them about a week before the 4 mile Pipiwai Trail hike on Maui. I wore them out a few times and they felt great. They were great on the trail and I had zero issues. I’m honestly shocked I didn’t have any issues because I didn’t really have to break them in. They felt light and had great traction. I can’t recommend them enough.
Bought a half size up and with hiking socks they fit me perfectly. Nice color combo.

Inside seam on outer portion of shoes became extremely irritated and feet hurt.Sooo-I love these so much I'm ordering 1/2 size bigger to accommodate my brand new orthotics. Please let this work! I'm also paying a much higher price than the first time which isn't cool. Wish me luck.
