This Moab 3 hiking shoe could not be better! It's sturdy, comfortable, and a lovely color (the Altitude). Also, thanks to all of the reviews, I purchased a size somewhat larger which worked out great. I typically buy shoes a little larger anyway, so I just went up another half size, and the fit is perfect! Thank you all!
Received exactly what I ordered when I ordered it. Thanks!
These have been good for moderate hikes in the soggy Pacific Northwest. They aren't too heavy and the soles aren't so stiff that I cant feel the ground well like with more rugged hiking boots.
Love how comfortable these are. I ordered half a size up (so I have room for thick socks) and wide. I’m really glad I did. Other popular brands in almost the exact same style didn’t have the wide option available. I was also happy to find that the soles are not glued down and slide out so I could add a Dr. Scholls insert. I find Columbia insoles to be hard and recently painful on my back halfway through my hikes. And as recommended by my physical therapist, I replaced the laces with elastic ones to prevent pressure on the tendons on the top of my feet. These are also handy because they make the boots easy to slip on and I don’t have to worry about them untying ever. So after these changes, I expect my weekend bird watching trip to be painless.
I’ve been looking for a waterproof hiker to take on a trip later this fall. Nothing but disappointment until I paid a little more and got these Moabs. They are perfect right out of the box. I wore them for hours today and will need no break-in period at all. They have a nice arch support as well. I also squirted them with the hose and was happy to find they are indeed waterproof! Yes, they are worth the extra money to get something so cute, comfortable, and supportive.
These hiking shoes were perfect for our vacation out west. Hiked over 40 miles in them on our trip and didn't get sore feet once.
Firm yet comfortable support. Water rolls off. Great materials combined for a good hike.I usually wear a size 9. Shoe box a tad narrow. Had to size up to 9.5. Highly recommend.
Great fit and very comfortable! Definitely waterproof!
