When it comes to hiking footwear, the Merrell Women's Moab 2 Vent excels in several key areas. One of the most notable aspects of these boots is their comfort. The Kinetic Fit ADVANCED insole and EVA midsole work together to provide a cushioned experience that reduces foot fatigue, making them ideal for long hikes.
In terms of fit and sizing, many users report that the Moab 2 Vent runs true to size, but keep in mind that they can feel a bit narrow, particularly for those with wider feet. It’s advisable to try them on or consider a half size up if you prefer more room.
Another critical factor for hikers is breathability. With their mesh lining and upper, these shoes allow air circulation, helping to keep your feet dry and comfortable even on warm days. However, they do lack waterproofing, so they might not be the best choice for rainy hikes or river crossings.
Durability is another strong point of the Merrell Moab 2 Vent. The combination of pigskin leather and robust rubber soles means these boots can withstand rugged use over time. The Vibram TC5+ sole provides excellent grip on both wet and dry surfaces, giving you confidence on challenging terrains.
Overall, the Merrell Women's Moab 2 Vent shoes represent a superb option for casual and serious hikers alike, balancing comfort, durability, and traction in a stylish package.

I have such a hard time finding good shoes that fit me and last. I actually bought these to replace my 6 year old pair of the same. Wearing them nearly every day for work, hiking, etc. They finally wore out in spots inside. Great support, wide toe box, glad I could get the same shoe again!
seems to be what I was looking for
Overall the shoes were good for some short hikes. The traction/grip was great and they looked great as well. I liked the support in the arch. My only complaintS is that the toe Box was very wide and I could feel my feet slide side to side a little and that there was not a lot of cushion at the ball of the foot. I felt pain in the ball of my foot pretty early on in the hike.
Great shoe - just wish I ordered size 5 instead, runs big (for me anyway)
Had a pair just like these a long time ago. So happy to renew the same model. Thankyou!
This is my go-to hiking shoe. I hike daily and replace my shoes 3-4 times a year. I've tried other brands and models, but always come back to this Merrell. It's a perfect fit for me and is exceptional on the terrain that I cover. Please don't change this model...I'd be lost!
Good fit, comfortable and I got them on sale. I've had my eye on these shoes but couldn't quite justify the price in today's economy. Everything has gotten more expensive since covid for various reasons, but when they went on sale I grabbed them! Really love that they're leather.
Gift for a friend and she is very happy!
