I have no problem with Merrell shoes. Good on my feet. I wear them to work everyday and do a lot of walking through out the day. They give support to my feet.
1st pair of Merrill, and it won't be the last!
My girl's a landscaper on her feet in all weather, all day. She gets them soaking wet on the outside and they remain dry on the inside. Look, with the beating she puts them through, she goes thru 2 pair a year. I purchase 2 pair at a time so she has alternates them (as a person should that wears boots every day) every other day. For the price, look, fit and performance - while a year is not that long - they're awesome. Remember, they are not steel toed.
Great shoe. I’ve been wearing Merrill shoes for many years. They are long lasting and do hold up well. The one issue I have with them is the shoe laces untie by themselves. I’ve tried many different ways to lace these shoes, but to no avail, they still untie. It’s bothersome and quite frankly a pain in the A**, but perhaps it just me being incapable of quality shoe tying.
I read a couple reviews about the width. I wear So Cal thongs 90% of the time X 50 years. Worried they would be too narrow. Fit perfectly, with support. True to size. Had a moment there for a minute when heel of right shoe didn't feel right. The lump evened out after an hour of walking. Outstanding boot! Don't give up if it's weird out of the box. I Love them!
I'd had 2-3 pair of the Moab & really liked them (lasted years & retained comfort); and even got my wife into buying them for hiking and daily-outdoor use. Then I got a different style that I wasn't terribly thrilled with; but decided that the company had earned enough respect that I shouldn't walk away due to one bad experience.Last fall I got this pair (the Accentor series) and am back on the "loving it" trail once more. I hunt, fish, hike, and play hard & often; and without my Merrells, I doubt my feet would still love me for it.Thanks very much for restoring my faith in the company & in great-affordable footwear!Kudos guys!
These are some very nice hiking / walking mid-boots. They were tight at first but after about a week of wear, they are super comfortable. Breathable, and "No outside water". Quite OK with that, too! When these wear out - no idea how long that'll be - I'll get another pair. Experience says that boots like this usually last me about 5-7 years with normal wear (once or twice a week - light walking - no long hikes or rough terrain). We'll see what happens but pretty confident that these will follow that pattern. Hopefully so......
This boot is comfortable as well as durable and I highly recommend it
