When it comes to selecting a reliable pair of hiking shoes, the KEEN Women's Terradora Flex stands out for several reasons:
The air injected midsole provides exceptional cushioning, allowing for extended periods of walking without discomfort. Many users report feeling less fatigue even after long hikes, attributing this to the shoe's lightweight design.
Constructed with durable overlays, the Terradora Flex exhibits impressive resilience. The high-traction rubber outsole ensures you maintain grip across different surfaces, enhancing safety during challenging hikes.
Thanks to the KEEN.BELLOWS FLEX technology, the shoes allow for natural movement of the toes, which is often a limiting factor in traditional hiking footwear. This feature adds to the overall comfort and makes them suitable for various activities beyond hiking.
KEEN’s commitment to using PFC-free water repellents and ethically sourced leather further reinforces their dedication to environmental stewardship. If eco-friendliness is important to you, these shoes will align with your values.

Took these on recent trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. Lightweight- about 12 oz. Wore on plane, around Estes Park and on trails. Comfortable and good grip. Tried many other brands before settling on these. Waterproof too. Using them for everyday at home and gardening.
When ordering sneakers or boots, I always get size 7.5-8 for a bit more space in the toe box. I ordered my 7.5 and I find it a bit too spacious. I contemplated ordering a half size down (I really should fit a 7 in general) but found that I am comfortable enough and I may end up adding an insert on top of what’s already there to accommodate my flat feet.I temporarily switched into the sneakers I had been wearing before and found that these keens were much more comfortable for my feet. These are cute, waterproof and slip resistant, which I need for work when wrestling unruly dogs for medical treatments or walking them out in the rain/snow. If I re order down the line, I’ll try the 7s.
I love these Terradora Flex Waterproof Hiking shoes. I ordered a 10, which is a 1/2 size larger than another pair of Terradora Flex that I have. They fit great and don't get tight later in the day. Plenty of room for my toes and a larger sock. I like the support. It helps my back, knee and leg. They look great, too. However, the Flex runs smaller and shorter than the Speed, which I also have in a 9 1/2. The Speed 9 1/2 is longer and has more toe room. Mine are not waterproof. They have good support, too.
I bought these thinking I couldn’t go wrong with Keen. I have 3 other pairs of keen shoes that fit great, no problem. I ordered these in the same size as my other shoes and they are too narrow in the heel and not long enough. I even took out the inserts and replaced them with my others to see if I could get the fit more comfortable. It was better but not great. I have flat feet and I still could not feel anything under the middle portion of my feet. Which means it is not supported at all. Oddly enough stepping on a transition piece between two rooms made the middle section of the sole lift enough that made the fit much nicer. I wonder if the lift in the middle of the sole might be part of the problem. I am going to have to return these because of the odd fit.
Very comfortable but very heavy.Perfect fit.
Fit is perfect comfortable from day 1. Water resistant for wet grass.
These provide great stable support. Very nice compared to the heavy, stiffness of a hiking shoe. More like a really nicely made athletic shoe. I like wearing them, but they do look clunky and are not so handsome a shoe. But at this point, wear ability outweighs looks!!!
These are great. I have tried many, many trail shoes. These were by far the best for me. My feet do not slide forward going down steep trails. Super comfortable even after hiking all day!
