Starting with their breathability, the performance mesh material keeps your feet cool and well-ventilated during long hikes. This is especially useful when tackling those challenging ascents or warm-weather trails.
In terms of traction, the KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN rubber soles deliver reliable grip on various surfaces, letting you navigate through mud, rocks, and even streams with confidence. The 4mm multi-directional lugs provide stable footing that is essential for any serious hiker.
When it comes to support, the full-length stability shank and ergonomic design cater to a natural walking motion, reducing fatigue over time. The contouring around the ankle and heel locks you in place without being restrictive, allowing for greater agility.
Lastly, the overall comfort level stands out due to the padded tongue, collar, and underfoot cushioning. You can expect a soft landing with every step, thanks to the removable footbed that adds responsive cushioning. Finally, a sneaker shoe with a toe box that doesn't make my toes cramp. The support is wonderful and the shoe looks good too. I use these for everyday walking around, not as a sport shoe.
This was my third attempt at buying a hiking shoe. I was prepared to be disappointed as I had been with the previous two purchases. Boy was I wrong. These Keen hiking shoes are comfortable right out of the box. These shoes are lightweight, stable and the quality is bar none. I am 60 years old and need a quality, comfortable, lightweight hiking shoe that is stable and wow they fit the bill perfectly. I highly recommend these hiking shoes!
I bought these sneakers a few months back specifically for a Fall trip to Europe. I live in the South and had been living in my multiple Keens sandals but needed something for warmer weather and maybe more walking. I say maybe because my sandals are amazing and I could probably use them if it was Summer even though they're not "technically" made for walking or hiking. I digress. So, I bought these right before my trip and wore them maybe once or twice for a short amount of time to "break in". Short story - I wore them through miles and miles of walking - including the hills of Lisbon! - through hours & hours (and more hours) of plane travel and they felt amazing the whole way. When I took a trip like this last year - before I discovered Keens - I ended up with blisters by day 3. Not anymore! Last but not least - they are SO cute! I love the color, style, heel all of it. Keens are just the best shoes and since I've discovered them I have only bought more styles and varieties. I'm just waiting for a nice work heel and I will buy only Keens forever!
I love this shoe! I actually have it in 3 colors and want one more! It gives lots of toe width room and is like walking on sponges!
Beautiful shoe no complaints just thought the toe space would be bigger, I have a wide front foot, like in there hiking boots. There is a rubber? strip by the side of the shoe ending right near the front to give beter support, it end right at the joint of your large toe creating some pressure. Again I have a wide foot
With numerous surgeries on my feet, good fitting shoes are hard to come by. These shoes are VERY comfortable.
nice wide toe box. aggressive sole. attractive
I buy Keen shoes because of their wide toebox. I have a bunion on each foot so finding comfortable shoes can be a chore. I own the Keen Voyageur and the Keen Targhee shoes, but I wanted to find a lighter-weight shoe. These shoes are fantastic! The mesh on the side aligns with my bunions which reduces the pressure on them. They have an insert that supports my arches and keeps my foot stable while walking. They look more like sneakers than hiking shoes and are very nice looking. I own another pair of mesh sneakers, but they do not protect my feet in the woods. I have worn them for several days on flat surfaces and so far so good. I love that they are breathable for the summer. I'm really pleased with these shoes.Update:I just returned from a 10-day vacation in Yellowstone National Park. I wore these shoes every day and am happy to report that I did not get a single blister. Not only did these shoes make walking on the many surfaces throughout my travels safe, my feet never felt sore or achy. These shoes are wonderful!
