The KEEN Men's Targhee 3 Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoes excel in providing unparalleled comfort and support for outdoor enthusiasts. One of the most noteworthy aspects is their waterproof capability. Thanks to the KEEN.DRY membrane, moisture is effectively kept at bay, making these shoes perfect for those unpredictable weather hikes.
When it comes to traction, the KEEN ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole shines, delivering confidence whether you're trekking through muddy trails or rocky paths. The 4mm multi-directional lugs grip well and ensure that you can navigate any tricky terrain with ease.
As for support and comfort, the external support shank combined with its mid-cut height offers enhanced stability for your ankles. Moreover, the removable footbed adapts to the shape of your feet, providing an extra layer of comfort, especially during long hikes. However, some users do note that the shoes may feel slightly heavier than other options on the market, which could be a factor to consider based on your hiking style.
In terms of fit and care, the KEEN Original Fit gives ample room for toe splay, reducing discomfort during prolonged wear. Maintaining these shoes is relatively straightforward, mainly requiring occasional brushing to remove dirt and stains.

Shoes are great, very comfortable yet sturdy and appear to be appropriately waterproof
I used to work for a home improvement store and would get 20,000 steps per day. I tried running shoes, boots, etc and my feet still hurt at the end of the day. Then I tried Keen and I have used them for every scenario ever since. Walking, hiking, working, they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.
Always love Keens. This pair is almost perfect, slightly narrow on the toes. I have wide feet. They look great and very comfortable.
Easy to wear all day. Very comfortable and a well made shoe
Didn’t last long enough.
I like Keen shoes. I like that this shoe is water resistant, but it needs better winter traction. It is slippery on icey snow and surfaces. I was hoping for better. Other than that, this shoe met my other expectations. It feels secure and comfortable. The shoe laces could be a bit longer to tie them better.
I play disc golf in these shoes: lots of torque and abuse to the toe region. These shoes are still holding on, but the toe area is falling apart. Tread is peeling off as well. Comfortable shoes, definitely something to hike trails with, but disc golf is trashing them. Three stars because I understand that I’m hard on these shoes.
I have owned this shoe now for almost 3 months, and it has comfortably brought me walking 30,000 steps a day in New York, to hiking Big Sur in California. My first pair of Keens, and I am very pleased with them.
