The KEEN Men's Ridge Flex Low Height Waterproof Hiking Boots stand out due to several key features. Firstly, their flexibility is enhanced by the proprietary KEEN.BELLOWS FLEX technology, which allows for natural foot movement and reduces fatigue during long hikes. Users have reported feeling significantly less strain after extended use compared to traditional hiking boots.
When it comes to waterproofing, the KEEN.DRY membrane excels, keeping your feet dry in rain or through puddles. This feature is complemented by the breathable design, preventing moisture buildup inside the boot.
The traction provided by the KEEN ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole is impressive as well. With 4mm multi-directional lugs, you can confidently tackle slippery or rocky surfaces without fear of slipping.
Fit and comfort are crucial when it comes to hiking boots, and this model does not disappoint. The combination of eco-preferred leather and a ripstop mesh ensures breathability while offering necessary support. Additionally, with the removable PU insole and EVA midsole, you receive exceptional arch support, catering to those long hours on the trail.
However, there are some considerations to keep in mind. While they may be heavier than minimalist shoes, the durability and protection offered are worth it for serious hikers. Furthermore, breaking them in might take a few wears; it's advisable to plan shorter hikes at first.

My husband is very picky about shoes, and he absolutely loves these hiking boots! He started just wearing them when we would go camping, but now he wears them all the time. He says they’re very comfortable and they fit his wide feet well! I just bought him a second pair for his birthday!
I bought these shoes for my husband. He loves this brand. The shoes are comfortable. My husband is on his feet a lot they don't hurt. They water proof he out side in the snow chase down goats. They have great Tread you don't have worry about failing. These shoe have held up to framers life. They still look good as the day I bought them. I would Recommend these shoe. Would buy this brand shoe every time.
Love the wide foot bed as it provides a lot of support and stability and the addition of the "flex" panel may well help with the leather wanting to split with age and wear were your foot bends at the ball and toes. Time will tell on that but as for now this is my third set of Keens and I have been happy with every purchase.
I like everything about these shoes very warm and comfortable
Says they are comfortable and waterproof and he is happy with them
The damage on the box and shoe did not happen during delivery. No sign of damage was there on the out side of the package. Damaged left shoe with long slice on the box was sent to me why did it happen? I don't like it.
These are worth the cost. They are water proof in a few inches of water. I have never got my feet wet in these shoes/boots (refer to them as shoes/boots because the style looks half way in between shoes and boots, they function more as hiking boots but have a shoe look to them in my opinion). Have worn them every day and they are still holding up strong. Will likely last at least two years. I walk a lot and probably put more wear on shoes than the average person. There's still a lot of tread left on the bottom. Very impressed w the quality and dryness. The best hiking boots/shoes I have ever owned. My size varies from brand to brand, some brands i'm size 12 1/2 and some brands I'm size 12. For these 12 was a good fit.
I've been buying Keen products for as long as I can remember, usually I would just go to REI, but they did not have the ones I usually get, so I defaulted to Amazon. The quality of these is not up to par with what I would expect from Keen. But I've had issues like this before with Amazon purchases. It seems like companies like REI get the higher quality items and the rejected products end up on Amazon. They fit fine, but After a few weeks of casual wearing, they have started to separate at the seams. It's past the return period, so I'll just try and repair with some adhesive/epoxy.
