I just completed my first 20 mile trek challenge. Being new to this, I had no idea what to get for trail shoes. I came across these but I was reluctant because I never heard of this company. In my research, I learned that it is a popular shoe in other countries but has not broken the American market. I decided to give it a chance and I am so glad I did. My feet stayed completely dry. Around mile 11 we experience a torrential rain that lasted for approx a half hour. Socks were completely dry. We also had to cross creeks and had to trek through substantial mud along the trail. I did not have to change my socks once. Also note worthy, I did not feel like they made my feet unusually sweaty. I did however, take the original insoles out and replace them with dr sholes inserts. I felt like with the original insoles my feet pronated a lot. Take that with a grain of salt, I’m not sure if I really have a normal gait. They are a bit stiff initially but break in nicely. I wore them daily for approx a month before going on my 20 miler. Oh! And no blisters!!!!
