The specially designed ROCK ZONE feature offers additional stability for those tricky climbs and scrambles, making it a fantastic choice for adventurous hikers.
One of the standout aspects of this shoe is the EVA CONTROL PAD, which helps with heel strikes on uneven ground. This feature can be particularly beneficial if you're planning to hike on rocky or irregular surfaces. Many users have praised the comfort-fit insole, which feels tailored to the foot's shape and adds to the overall experience during longer trips.
However, while this shoe shines in many areas, it is worth noting that some users feel it requires a bit of a break-in period to achieve maximum comfort. Additionally, sizing may vary, and it's advisable to try them on beforehand to ensure the best fit. Overall, this hiking shoe is a reliable option for both casual trails and more rugged paths.

I purchased this shoe because it is very hard to find any kind of comfortable light weight but sturdy waterproof hiking shoe. And I have tried them all. They were a little stiff at first but they accommodated my orthotics so I took the time to break them in and I am so pleased. They remained dry through muddy fall yardwork and were warm and dry through shoveling a foot of snow. The sole hasn't broken down and remains very supportive. The affordable price was amazing.
Love the fit, the red color how tough the shoes are. I hike 2 twice daily and so far these shoes are slip proof, toe protecting, water proof and comfortable!
This shoe fits tight (I have a wide foot) it is waterproof, slips on and off without tying the laces. I like them.
7.5 D was more like 8 C - too long and too narrow. They were also very stiff.
Very heavy and stiff, despite giving time to break them in.
I bought these in a German Jack Wolfskin shop for 85 euro. Wore them today for a 3 mile hike in woods. Not waterproof. My toes weren't pinched, but not comfortable. Disappointed.
Waterproof and very comfortable. I'm a size 5 (EUR 35-35.5) and usually get a size 5.5 for hiking shoes to fit thick socks. The size 5.5 is EUR 36 for this brand and it's a bit loose even with thick socks.
