These should last for years. My previous hikers were much lighter, but these are great. Good purchase.Avid walker
I think that this is pretty good for a trail shoe. It does its job pretty well in holding up to abuse, keeping my feet out of harm, and generally looking like a shoe. One of the stranger aspects is that it has a slight upward curve in the front toe area, more pronounced than any other shoe I've ever worn. Until I "broke it in," it felt rather unnatural. I've since put a few miles on it and the curve has lessened, but it's still there. In reality, this curve is probably 2 or 3 millimeters, but it feels particularly pronounced for my little piggies.
Good fit!
