The shoes/boots arrived. Tried them on immediately and fell in love with them. Comfortable and good support
Boots are excellent quality, fit like a glove, durable for hiking and comfortable enough to wear when site seeing in town. Comfortable enough to wear all day, durable enough on rocky, muddy, slippery terrain.
These boots did not last. The sole was very thin and tore in multiple places making the shoes leak. The rubber was paper thin and it frankly felt like walking barefoot when walking on anything other than perfectly flat ground
I wear a size 13, and usually need a wider shoe. These fit perfectly. I use them for cutting grass, they have held up well especially for how lightweight they are.
I bought 4 pairs of Eddie Bauer boots in the past 14 months. I have a 12 months old German short hair puppy, LOL. I have flat feet. To try out the new boots, i need to remove the shoe insoles and replace it with powerstep arch support inserts. But the shoe insoles were glued to the shoes base. I tried it out with the shoes original insoles, but my feet just didn't feel right without the orthotic inserts. I had to rip the shoes insoles from the base and in the process, the shoes are not returnable. Eddie Bauer boots insoles should not be glued to the shoe base. My other 3 pairs didn't have this issue. This is why I gave 4 stars. Other then the insoles glued to the boots, I like Eddie Bauer boots.
I like the way it fits and very comfortable
Shoe fit well and was comfortable. Soles split in just 3 months. Worn as a daily shoe. Never even went hiking in them and the sole split. 1st rain and my feet were soaked. Won't buy again.
