These are extremely comfortable shoes. I have worn them in rain and through wet grass and my feet stay dry. They are a little more bulky than I had hope for but very easy to wear.
Very comfortable and lots of support. They do run big so you may want to order a smaller size.
For the past few years I have been looking for work shoes that are waterproof, light and durable. I spent 100s of $ on shoes that are light and waterproof but not durable. Im very happy with these shoes, the sizing is great since I am around US 12-12.5 but most brands only offer 12 or 13 either too small or too big so a size 12 was perfect. At work I have to walk down a small ramp with a dolly of nitrogen cylinders with a wall few feet ahead, first time having these shoes on I was surprised at the level of traction and how I was able to stop mid ramp (before I'd get dragged down by the dolly). Definitely buying another pair.
I only tried them on. They are basically comfortable.I would not know if I were to use them on a longer-term basis and walk with them and use them in the rain.I ordered these because I really need footwear that would keep my feet dry in rainy wet weather. I have yet to try them for that purpose but it seems these are waterproof. I don't care that much for their appearance but I am still ok with it as the color is not outlandish and the style does not look like they are strictly for teenagers. I like that they look like trekking shoes or trail runners. I am female but men's footwear fits better.The fit seems to be of US sizing standards. These are a teensy bit narrow but not extremely so, but that is for my own foot.I do not know how good the soles are as far as traction. I am not going to use the shoes out in the rugged outdoors except maybe for a walk in Central Park in NYC where I am.But after having had bought them and written this review, I see that the description on the Amazon site says they are made of leather. They don't seem to be but I rather not use leather.I will probably be returning them. Too bad. I liked these shoes.However I would say that if you don't mind wearing leather, you may like these shoes.
I own several pairs of echo shoes and I'd always been a fan of Eccos as I thought they were well made and very comfortable. I suppose the construction quality is okay on this pair too. However, Ecco doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to size their shoes consistently worth a damn. It's almost as if no two pairs of size 12's by Ecco are the same size either.This particular shoes are some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had in my life. I read they ran somewhat narrow, so I even opted for the next wider size up. Despite that, they are still ridiculously narrow, especially in the toe box.I've owned them for about 6 months now and they just have never broken in or gotten any better despite walking probably 100 miles in them so far. These are essentially the type of shoes that you hear about later on in life that likely require people get corrective foot surgery to recover from. I just wish I could get my money back.
Ecco is a quality brand these are my 3rd pair of their shoes. I have a couple if leather shoes that are business casual for work love them and get compliments. You can see the quality looking at them and feeling the materials. With the quality of the shoes you can wear them all day. I purchased the goretex shoes and they are awesome. Snow and waterproof, comfy and their great with gym clothes or street clothes or dress them up
I bought these to use, walking and hiking in a wet climate, and on the sand. First of all, these shoes are really comfortable. I have trouble with my feet and wore these for two weeks straight and no issues at all. I was on beaches, and even in the water by mistake, and they never got wet on the inside. I 100% recommend these.
Super Comfortable and Good Looking Gore Tex shoe but delicate uppers. If you treat it like a hiking boot or a work shoe it will not last very long.
