The ECCO Men's Biom 2.1 Low Gore-tex Waterproof Cross Trainer stands out as an exemplary choice for anyone seeking footwear that combines performance with comfort. The use of GORE-TEX ensures that your feet remain dry, which is crucial during wet hikes or unexpected downpours. This feature is complemented by the lightweight yet durable ripstop fabric, making it resilient against tears while maintaining breathability.
When it comes to comfort, the PHORENE midsole shines by providing ample cushioning and energy return without adding excess weight. This means that whether you're navigating rocky trails or urban landscapes, every step feels lighter. Furthermore, the BIOM Technology incorporated into the design promotes natural movement, allowing your feet to function as they should—this is particularly beneficial for long hikes where fatigue can set in quickly.
In terms of traction, the ECCO PERFORMANCE RUBBER+ outsole offers impressive grip, ensuring stability on a variety of surfaces. This characteristic is invaluable if you’re traversing slippery or uneven terrain. The additional reflective elements enhance safety during evening outings, making these trainers a functional choice at all hours.
However, potential buyers should note that while these shoes provide exceptional benefits, there may be a slight break-in period required. Also, the investment might feel steep when comparing to non-waterproof alternatives, but the features provided certainly justify the cost for regular adventurers.
Overall, the ECCO Men's Biom 2.1 is a commendable option for those who refuse to let weather conditions dictate their outdoor activities.

PERFECT QUALITY PERFECT FIT...I LOVE THEM
Bought these shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe. I was hesitant at first because of the price but went ahead anyway. Boy, am I glad I did. The most comfortable shoes ever! Lightweight and waterproof these shoes were a godsend walking along the cobblestone streets of Germany. The recommended size fit perfectly for me. Don't hesitate to buy these shoes, your feet, back, and legs will thank you.
shoes are comfortable and nice, but after two months of 4 day per week gym workouts, they have begun falling apart. for the price of these shoes, this is unacceptable. amazon offered me a “10 dollar promotional credit” which resolves nothing, but it isn’t amazons fault. buy these overpriced shoes if you want to replace them every 2 months. should be noted that zero running took place in these and the rest of the shoe looks like new, but the soles falling apart is unacceptable.
Great shoe! However the price dropped $35 since I purchased.
The lettering on the shoe started coming off.( the shoe logo]
10-10.5 is small, 11-11.5 is large. Why ECCO combines sizes? Or, according their stupid logic, it shall be another, 10.5-11 size in between :)
Looks great but a little sloppy because it is slightly larger than four purchases prior from same company.
The shoe looked gorgeous. Unfortunately, it was Euro sizing and way too big for me, so I had to return it
